Ben Affleck as Batman Reveal

The bat-suit does not match the bat-mobile. One is retro-spandex-ie and the other is contemporary armored. The bat-suit looks best as body armor - say what you will about the Nolan bat-movies...that dude made the suit what it needed to be.

Batman is a suit and a voice...if either of those things are goofy.... it's over.

Once upon a time the bat symbol was meant to draw the fire of his assailants, since his chest was the most armored.

i like the smaller ears and the batmobile but i dont like the "fat" symbol (get it? fat not bat because its so big). i get that its supposed to look like the one fro the dark knight returns but i didnt like it then nor do i now.

From the comiccon reveal and the reading of the quote..... i think Snyder intends there only to be a similarity with his movie and the Batman costume. that was it. nothing else from Frank Miller book.
I imagine Snyder taking something and watching a slideshow of Batman content..... and at one point he yells. "That's it! that's the look that is not like the trilogy!"
