I know not to long ago there was a release of the Batmans cowl but there isnt any real styles that you can collect ingame there are styles that are look alikes like Stalwart Defender Boots and Gotham Knight Chest,Waist,Legs but it would be nice if we could get a Batman collection style even if it was just batman gloves (im only bringing this up because theres Deathstroke Chest Flashes Boots etc)
There are gloves, from the Family Reunion Operation briefing, afaik. And the Batwoman-Cape, dropping from Mannheim in the Temple of Crime.
i have those both but you must not understood my post there is look alike styles but not real batman styles beside the purchaseable cowl.
What you are looking for is not available in the game, and I'm not expecting it to be for quite long. Most of the players (I included) get interested in the game due to a specific legend (Batman in my case) and the devs give us styles that resemble the legends but are not quite perfect. They use that to lure us into keep playing and keep waiting for something that will resemble them even more so we keep hunting the styles looking for a better version of what we already have collected. It's a marketing strategy. So when they give the Batwoman cape the players got excited, after a while it's not so wow, so them the they give the new 52 Batgirl cape, still not what we are looking for, but we keep playing expecting the full Batman cape that goes over your shoulders and it drags on the floor. Same with the rest of the style pieces. Will they give us that? Not for now. That's the carrot that keeps the turtle moving. So we'll get more of the "almost but not exactly" until they can make another carrot and let go of that one. My 2 cents.
I don't think it's as much of a marketing strategy as it is DC being VERY protective of their brand. They've been hands-on from the start and it's been pretty consistent that they allow us to look similar to the iconic characters but not the same as those characters. That's why we get limited emblem use and (going by past behavior) probably won't get free use of iconic character emblems any time soon. Now, that's not to say that Daybreak wouldn't incorporate that into their marketing strategy, or at the very least factor it into their strategy. But after my experiences here and with SWG, I'm more inclined to think it's the license holder saying, "Nope, can't do that."
Think of this in a more positive way, too. It encourages players to create their own heroes rather than making copies of established superheroes. If we were given all of the tools to make a Batman, chances are the game would be clogged with Batman clone after Batman clone. Not giving the pieces immediately encourages players to think outside the box and improvise, and strive to make more original toons. Then, when styles are released like the Batman cowl, it's as much a nice touch to get it closer than a complete copy of a hero. I went through that with my first hero, Knightlife, because she was following in Batman's footsteps. But not having a bunch of Batman pieces led me to rework her style and make her stand out a bit. Then, as I found more Batman pieces, like the Gotham Knight helmet, I was able to work a more distinct look for her. If anything, I know I would really like some of the classic group hero logos in the game more than I would the Bat insignia or the superman shield. I built a Jessie Quick and a GL character, and was somewhat disappointed that I couldn't put a decent lightning bolt or GL insignia on their costumes initially. I appreciate that they are available as you go deeper into the game, but I think having a Lanterns logo available from the get-go works better for the customer base and for the game than trying to buy/find it.
Is the OP serious. We have tons of batman styles. In fact there are 3 suits in the game that are batman oriented as well as stand alone batman styles from briefings. 3 bat capes 3 bat helms not including the cowl in the MP If anything the game lacks superman styles.Which will change in the upcoming pieces of content
read the post before you type i said there are look alikes not actual batman styles batgirls cape batwoman cape is not BATMAN Dark Specter Android Batman And GCPD helm is not BATMAN
Pretty much what you want is an exact look alike of Batman. You pretty much want a legends character of batman with the helm, chest, legs, etc. Yea I dont think the people at DC will let that fly. I mean they wont even give players green and yellow lantern specific auras.
All we really are missing to recreate Batman is a proper Emblem... or a chest piece with a proper Batman Emblem. This is as close as we can get to recreating the Batman..... for now.
Wouldn't hold my breath on that, not without some kind of design modification to the chest piece that keeps us from looking exactly like him. Think about the Superboy hoodie and Batwoman T-shirt from the Vault. Switch the shirt styles around and you've got an easy copy of Superboy and an easier method of copying either Batwoman's look or the Batman Beyond outfit. I don't think it's an accident that those shirt styles are the way they are.
batman chest is overkill hands are most realistic if they ever decide to give us a real style from batman
The new cowl looks like the one that Ben Affleck is wearing in the Batman V Superman: DOJ movie. Out of respect for the new version of Batman, we should get to wear the newest Batman chest piece. Batman: "Do you bleed?" (Looks at Superman, in the sky.) Batman: "You will."
I didn't get much sleep, after an early mistake I should admit that off the bat , so I might not be recalling things accurately... but did they announce they'd give us Superman themed styles to go with the Kryptonian content? I think were starting to head into Kryptonian in this next arc we have coming up (I doubt every single epsiode in this arc is going to be Legends of Tomorrow based) and the next suits are not Kryptonian at all. Merely asking because I literally am drawing a blank. While none of my existing characters truly need such styles, I do know it's something severly lacking in the game (considering that T3 may have been kryptonian based but it didn't feel like Superman.. more like his home planet.. and that's not really what I think fans truly want).
I'm sure we'll get a modified version of the new Superman style. We got one a long while ago with the House of El, Superman chest tops. I mean they changed the outfit for the new Supergirl TV show. Why not change the look of Superman suit for this game? And now a clip from fav. Superman change scene from "Superman II".
