LOL Putting just regular 5 mods in that gear will put your CR to 97. I am full T5 with 83 face, 83 neck, 83 weapon, 1 82 ring with a 4 mod, and and 83 ring with a 4 mod, all other gear modded with basic 5 mods, and my CR is 97. I'm telling you now, expert mods do not actually raise your cr any more than regular 5 mods do. I've inspected people with expert mods, and I've inspected people with regular mods. Their item levels did not go up any more with expert mods.

No. Expert V's give +22 on rings, while V's give +21.

Even with cr 105 u wont be able to run paradox with only 1 sideboss out, in a PUG group. This 1 hit and ur dead was a bad decision.
I was only able to run wave with sidebosses in league and thats crap in my eyes.

And by the way if t5 raids mean bosses keeps hitting for 100K damage, what will we see in t6 raids? 300K damage per hit from a boss? :D

1hits was just a poor option to make the current content hard.

I pug t5 all the time and the best way is to start the group and call the shots or join a pug group with ppl u see shouting everyday and u have to do well ppl will ask u to run with them if u good at your role and know what u doing .

I've inspected players with experts in their rings and with regular 5 mods in their rings. The item levels were exactly the same.

Not that i should, but after the servers are back up, i will post the ring with a exp and a normal V plan on it.

  8. Ghettogospel314 New Player

I run wave with 1boss up in pug groups all the time it's not hard you just need someone who can lead

    This is false.
CR is calculated by the total amount of stats with different multipliers depending on item slot.

You were either looking at pvp rings or you're making stuff up.

    edit: see image above ;)

People ask for 97 because they want an easy run. That's the problem with this game, everyone wants an easy run. Most people asking for 97 CR do so because they are used to running with League runs where they don't have to really work as hard. It's really not going to change, since this is a community issue and not one the Devs can really fix.

As long as players want to put as little effort as possible into their Raids, then expect this to be the same in all content. That's why the only real choice for being under the asking CRs is to join a league where they rush you up to the current asking CR, and then you become one of the same people wanting to run with CR97+.

    Never ending cycle. :p

I know what I saw. Wasn't making anything up. Also, considering PVP rings aren't moddable, it obviously wasn't PVP rings I saw on them.

LOL Nice touch with the supposed fallacy, but it's wrong. I know what I saw. I've inspected several players with both expert mods and basic 5 mods in their gear, in particular trolls and healers. The item level with basic 5 mods were no different than the item levels with expert mods. CR is not calculated by the total amount of stats. It is calculated by the item level of gear with different multipliers depending on item slot. If CR was calculated by the total amount of stats, those with more skill points would have a higher CR, lol. They don't though. Next time, try a fallacy that actually applies. I know what I'm looking at when inspecting other players around my CR. Modding your gear, including rings, with basic 5 mods when you are full T5 and nothing more will make you 97 CR. Modding the same gear with expert 5 mods will make you 97 CR.

This. also IMO the most important stats in nexus is the tank stats and how good he does, and the dps stats and how good he play,
The other are also important of course, since without the healer the tank dies, and withou the trollers dps can't burn fast enough,
    healers can't heal etc...
But if the tank fails there almost nothing the healers or anyone can do to save the group.
And if the dps don't do enought damage the enforcements will come and it will most likely a wipe.

In paradox, Health is the king there, A good healer will have a much more visible effect there since
the things that can wipe a group isn't the boss, but the adds, and they don't do 1-shots.
In the last fight a good strat will be more important than anything.

And thats is just my opinion.

    And +1 on ignore list.

"Omg i inspected some player once and there was no difference" is exactly what that fallacy means. Just because you don't understand it doesnt mean math doesnt exist.
CR of an item is solely determined bu its stat pool, thats a fact.
That you cant comprehend that equipping a higher CR item wont necessarily increase your personal CR due to rounding is completely your lack of understanding.
And remember, i dont like onions on my burger.

Well, I have to say (IMO) if they're asking for CR97 then don't go in there "saying" you're only 96. I understand the consideration of being "honest"...but if you're determined to get in "that" group and you're capable of getting them thru a t5 (which at 96 I'm sure you are) then don't say anything. Let your skills do the talking. Insta-kicks are usually PUGs that have "been there and done that"...for way too long than they've liked. They just don't want to waste time or put up with the risks or hassles. Surprisingly, you will find groups out there that are willing...and as a troller, i don't think you'll have any problem. Its just all a matter of finding a "patient" group.

Lie! Tell them you have 97 cr. You will be more than fine in Nexus... We ran a backup troll will only t4 gear the other night without a hitch. It's stupid for people to only be looking for 97+.
