Yesss!! I know a few people are planning some interactive fun for the stream too, so it should be a blast (figuratively and probably literally given the theme haha!)

Only one week left for entries! We've got a very stacked line up so far, and I'm so stoked to see what you all have come up with with your chosen characters. I'm still aiming for a Friday stream of next week (the 17th) at the usual time, but I'll definitely let you guys know if things change.

So far I think we have 13 entries. I'm still debating if I wanna do two streams or one. I might end up splitting it so it doesn't drag on too long into the night for everyone, but we'll see how things go!

Yesss! I'm so stoked as well. I'll have a tour schedule up Thursday for everyone.

I also think I'm going to do a two day stream so it doesn't stretch into the late night hours for the East coasters, so if anyone has a specific preference of which day they go for the live, Friday or Saturday, let me know!

No worries at all, Dragon. There's always the end of the year free for all to look forward to!


Also, if it's in the new Sunstone Fortress, I'm partnering with Elite Sixteen for a separate contest in the coming weeks. I, or Andriod/Pandavil, will have a forum thread with more details when the rules/date vid is up on their channel. I think we're aiming for around the actual Superman Day for touring, so mid-June, but that's a rough guess.

Either way, looking forward to seeing it when it's finished!

TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT!!!! So pumped for this!!!

Just wanted to say thank you SO much for everyone who came out for this Base Off. Not only were the entries phenomenal, but the way you all worked together and created narrative experiences within the stream was amazing. If you guys missed the live, the VODs are still up on Twitch with the livechat, or I'll link to the YouTube uploads below. I have a long week of judging ahead of me but expect the winner's announcement to be posted here on Friday!

Initially, I was a little skeptical about this base off... Iconics... really not my pair of boots... but it turned out that these were just the prejudices of an old conservative... I liked this stream and the bases in it as much as the previous ones. My congratulations to all the participants, all the bases are great Well, if we talk about my favorite, it will probably be “Urzkartaga Temple by DCCheetah”

I'll be real, while I wasn't skeptical, I was nervous since I definitely don't lean into the Iconic side of DCUO in anyway. But man, this was definitely a wonderful Base Off, both in the number of entries as well as the quality. I honestly think it was one of the most fun streams too- seeing everyone take a Lady Clay approach and set up interactive scenarios throughout the whole night was great, even going so far as to help one another with it. I always knew that everyone helps one another through the contest, be it farming for items, trading, input, etc, but just seeing it in full force the whole night was incredible and really was fantastic.

I'm still calculating totals as we speak too, even after several run throughs of each base. I think this is one of the closest battles yet but things are starting to narrow down. Still hoping for that Friday release, though it might be late into the evening how things are going, haha!

Again, I wanted to give a shout out to all the contestants and participants for this Base Off. As stated in the video, I don't think I've been so nervous to host a contest except for the very first one, and yet despite my hesitance and unfamiliarity with the source material, everyone was willing to offer insight, patience, and share with me their passion for Iconic inspired creations. I cannot thank you all enough, nor tell you how incredible it was to see you all not only bringing your absolute a-game to the table in the way of bases, but the shared community aspect of building one another up and aiding in all the interactions of the entries for the livestream. It was a wonderful night of bases, and probably one of my favorite Base Offs to this date.

A HUGE thank you to all the contestants, livestream participants, supporters, and donors who make this whole thing possible, and congratulations to our winners! I'll be reaching out to each of the winners about their prizes this weekend and shipping everything off ASAP over the next week.
