Back From the Hack Feat

I would be fine with this. only problem I see with the feat is it was for progression and not only a cosmetic thing.

Oh, boy. Not this again. It's been confirmed multiple times in the past this feat at most gains you half a skill point. Nothing you can spend or use, and at current rate of Ep releases only puts you a fraction ahead (realistically 2-4 weeks) ahead of other players in terms of SP progression. It's a nearly useless feat and far less valuable than the energy wasted arguing over it.

Whilst it doesn't bother me personally, I do see the problem with this and that alone is a valid reason to bring it up.

Anyway, the point is seasoned players (looking at you, Kid), keep stirring up drama for no gain. It's conflict for conflict's sake.

There is no value in giving this feat to everyone and there is no value in taking it away from those who have it. And we've already determined players crying because they don't have this are doing so out of greed and envy. Plain and simple.

Players still crying about this should know better. Let it go.

I think it was supposed to be Tyrant? But no I agree I don't have it and don't care about it, now if I ever get all the feats that are left to do I will rethink it, but naw it's what it is.

And it's annoying having people who weren't even paying at the time whining about compensation for a month long denial of play

If you paid attention, didn't say you should get the sale a week later, but the door prize, which is the equivalent to what the Feat is (and that feat doesn't even show up if you don't have it, unlike other Feats)

You seem to be ignoring the fact, that at that time, not only did you have to buy the physical disc, but you had to have a paid monthly membership. Most games tend to have a disclaimer about not guaranteeing the game will be available at all times (usually to stop the whiners complaining about weekly or daily maintenance), but that downtime was from outside denial of services. SOE was not obligated to provide anything (just like all the other games that were affected), but they did

The only person who is whining here is you. Youre whining because all i did was point out the feat was ridiculous and backed it up with a few points, and this hurt your feelings somehow. Thats not my problem.

And no, i am not ignoring that people had to buy the physical disc. In fact i have repeatedly stated that that happens to be the only good argument people have to justify the silly feat. Membership isnt a good argument though, as the little over a week PS3 glitch of last year the only people that were compensated were paying members too. They didnt get a feat however. All they got were loyalty points.

Only players the back from the hack .50 sp effect is those with max skill points. The feat is called "back from the hack", if you weren't playing then, you loose out. Deal with it. We who got it oaid 60$ for a game that we couldn't play, and those who don't have it, just want something for nothing.

Demeaning as a "kid" is insulting. I am an adult and I am arguing for the sake of playing the devil's advocate also it's quite entertaining actually.
As I stated previously I have nothing of value to the reward of this feat. For presonal interests this feat has no value to me.
You, yourself, listed the value, which is half a skill point. For some players it does mean a lot if they're trying to top the leaderboards. Some players even add various symbols to their names just to gain a few positions due to the API listing players by a calculation in which numbers>letters (Some players have zeros before their names). For them this unobtainable half a skillpoint matters.
The player motivation to obtain or rather remove the 50 pts this feat holds is irrelevant. The reward for this old hack is going against the competitive spirit.

Let's asume my account (with a valid legendary status) in some misunfortunate event get locked out and I can't access it for an entire month. Support can't help me, Mepps is busy wrestling bears in Siberia. Other developers are on vacation. (You get the idea, nobody can help me). After that horrid month I get access to my account and for the troubles I had I am awarded 50 pts, a month free of legendary and a special style item that no other will receive.
Now comes the question. Did I receive an unfair advantage over other players who did not suffer from this? Didn't the extra month of legendary I was given cover the costs of the whole problem?[Article for reference]
I understand giving the legendary for the lost month back, I understand the mask which doesn't give players advantage over others.

As for the 50 feat points awarded, my point previously stated is it provides no advantage for anyone; period, end of story. I 100% guarantee the presence of that feat does not affect the scoreboard value in any way.

No, i am stating a reasonable opinion backed with solid points. You are getting all defensive about it because i disagree with you and in turn you are now sounding like a child. That is what you call whining.

And it was about a 10 day glitch that got 0 feat points in return. Yours was a 30 day glitch that somehow devs felt the need to give 50 points in return. That math makes no sense.
