That feat should have gone to individual SUBSCRIBERS...not toons or accts...when my ps3 died I went PC...and lost that feat...even though subscriber wise I was preorder PS3...and indeed I remember quite well the era when financial information was stolen from people to the game breaking after only its first few updates.

To be honest I really do think this feat should be a) taken away or b) become a 0 point feat awarding a title. I have the feat on several characters but I do feel the rightful sting from other players knowing they will never be able to get that odd skill point compared to me because it is a 50 point feet.

i feel the same way about the odyssey feat.

Err.. Accept that one can actually be achieved by anyone with the ability to take down multiple bosses at once. Back From the Hack on the other hand can never be achieved by anyone that joined after July 2nd, 2011.

most players achieved it by glitching it. same with all the prime feats. throne of the dead too.

players can easily get these now simply because we're all so op.

would be fun to erase the EO feat and buff the raid up to t8 and then lets see what happens...provided it can be done sans hanging outside the map.

the back from the hack feat was given to players who endured about five weeks of downtime. it was earned whether people want to admit it or not.

besides. current attitude towards feats and skill points is they don't matter...so wouldnt matter either way if some players have it and some don't...

it's a challenge for early users..... obviously not for users maxing CR and going in to that content.

So will you take away Happiness Home las boss feats? Inner Sanctum (multiple bosses)? Kahndaq? New Genesis Now? South Gotham Courthouse (related to Penetrating Strikes)? Watchtower? Power Core (second boss)? Sunstone Matrix? Nexus Of Reality? Prima Battleground? And many more that involved doors, bad mods, removing boss AI, dueling, movement, tanking NPCs, etc. Look through the history books, and ask. Any honest veteran will tell you exactly how each of those instances could have been abused to gain at the time fairly unobtainable feats for the minor majority (or even completion).

Edit: I'll even include Brainiac's Bottle Ship to that list. There are 2 feats in there that the issue involving should be fixed, the feats taken away and the content scaled to tier 8 by your logic. And it's less than 3 months old.

Back From the Hack was not earned like other feats are/could have been. We went about our normal days (most) and logged back in around July 2nd and feat flew out of thin air and into our listing without us having to do anything special in-game. If the outside world influences feats then by all means let's get the ball rolling and create a Real Life section with various feats.

The feat can easily become a 0 point feat with an exclusive title and still mean something. Heck when the initial servers became MergaServers we were given simple exclusive emblems. When beta players transitioned we were also given emblems. Even Xbox One players weren't given anything beyond cosmetics even though you could make the claim that "I wasn't able to enjoy the game on my favourite platform due to partner bias."

Anyways... It likely won't change to a 0 point feat but it really should.

you monkeys that did not have an account in 2011 related to dcuo can suck eggs with dirt on them. Then call it a Feat that will not be related to the game that you use now and was not using in 2011 when it launched with named servers. piss off.

honestly i can't imagine a alternative progression system for dcuo. it's near it's story end. why would it?

Still ever since then, it seems no additional staff from SOE to DCUO. none announced in the press.meh. big companies and share holders.... /shrug

I got a good idea. As soon as the cr stats are drop and skill points come in play. Revamp a new Dox and make it 10 times harder. I rember playing the old Dox before weapon mastery. It was a good chalange. No AM and no weapon mastery. Now we got the AM and weapon mastery. It's time to step it up a few notches.

72 SP vs 140 SP vs 200 SP vs 250 SP
Eat the requirement. get that Feat. There are a few Feats.

Remember the R&D issue of showing too much?
Let's add an additional tab for Archive.
Let's not simply change the default status of each tier of plans to hide instead of display.
Let's keep the default status of the League Roster set to Show Offline Members! That's useful! What a great choice as it's default configuration!

Why do you keep bringing up the fact that other games were interrupted due to the PSN hack? It's completely irrelevant. Nobody is demanding other games give compensation for something they never gave compensation for at a time that you weren't playing. Nobody but you is implying that that's the case. What other games did or didn't do has no bearing on that at all. It only matters what DCUO did as compensation.

I don't understand how this still needs to be spelled out for you.

You weren't playing the game at the time of the hack. That means you didn't pay for the disc, and you didn't pay for the subscription. We did. DCUO chose to compensate us in the fashion they chose to. It wasn't silly. It was a heartfelt thank you from a company that knew that their game could have been tanked all due to the collossally bad coincidence of launching a couple of months before the hack. They knew people playing this game, who had stuck at out, were at the greatest risk of having their financial information compromised, as a credit card was required to play the game.

Nobody who couldn't play during a ten day glitch on PS3 had to endure the concern of identity theft. Stop comparing them. They're not comparable, and you sound less credible in your "valid points" each time you trot this one out.

Here's a fact. There is no statistical advantage to 50 skill points. it buys you exactly nothing. Its a badge of honor.

Here's another fact for you, since you talk about how feats should be earned through skill. there are 1300 and change feats in the game. Of those 1300, roughly 10 to 15 taken any actual skill, and even those require little to no skill if one waits long enough to play the content as low tier content becomes insanely easy to clear. Many feats pop by sheer luck(literally the antithesis of skill) and most others are grinds. So we're talking what, like 1% of feats that require skill at any given time and you're complaining about the back from the hack feat? Well I'll tell you what. I did five weeks of grinding loyalty to earn my back from the hack feat.

If you don't think having your financial data put at risk is worth a physically in game meaningless feat, then I'm not sure what is.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but you're going to need a stronger argument for it than the one you've presented thus far before claiming victory as you have.

There is no argument.....only you and the river of tears your crying over this.....you weren't playing this game......you don't deserve to get ANY compensation in this game....go cry on the forums of the games you were playing at the time......doing it here only makes you look like a crybaby tossing a tantrum.

It's straight up laughable that you want to be compensated in a game you were not even playing at the time.

Maybe the DEVS should just gift wrap a pack of the OG auras for you as well......ya know....in case you weren't here and feel slighted by not getting something you were not here for........
