Hi, I have dps\tank with fire power. I am realiy boring with this power and i want to change to earth or atoimc. So i want to know who is the better dps?
Earth is the better DPS and probably the top DPS power in game, Earth tanking has 2 sets, Brick tanking and aftershock tanking. Atomic I'm not sure lol
Earths a great tank, but its more complicated. I had switched to Ice from Earth.I couldnt believe the simplicity while the dps after some practice was easy and devastating. I've not tried atomic yet maybe someone else will chime in.
Come on: I've always been earth. This time I decided to change to atomic because the tank. My impression these days: The earth tank is stronger. But the atomic tank is more efficient! Contrary to speak earth and very easy to tanking. The difficulty and that many prefer to go with jackhammer! And in this case actually gets harder. If you are brick will see it is very easy! The earth DPS is better! The atomic tank has an advantage in time to pull the adds. As well as teleport them to you, they come dizzy! The earth tank has sinned in this regard. Either way both are good! I can only say that the earth DPS easier foot! And the tank too! But the atomic tank is more efficient!
Earth is the best DPS but the worse tank. Atomic is good DPS but the best tank. Ice is good tank and good DPS. If I was switch I will choose Ice or stay on Fire. On PvP side, Earth is better than the 3 that I mentioned.
I don't think any of the tank powers differ much between each other as far as effectiveness if you know how to use them. I've seen every tank power set do well in every instance in the game, so if you know what you're doing, you'll do well. As far as dps, Earth is very strong, but I don't think Atomic is too far behind if at all judging from what I've seen the last couple days. And keep in mind, Earth is still due an update. So all that to say, I don't think you can go wrong with either.
Rage takes skill to play. If you can cancel the rage crash, it's the best tank. Ice is the easiest tank to play. Fire is generally considered the hardest tank to play, because of how vulnerable you are out of block. I did a very detailed comparison of all the tank powers in this thread. Earth is generally a bit easier to play than Fire, because of its defense buff and Gemstone Shield. Atomic is definitely not the strongest tank. Ice and Rage should generally do better. It takes a decent amount of skill to play Atomic, I'd put it at about the level of Earth. Things that are challenging for Fire Tanks-- gathering adds and keeping things crowd controlled-- are a cinch for Atomic. But as an Atomic Tank you can't hold block for long periods of time to catch your breath and get your bearings in a chaotic fight like all the other tank powers can (and do). Earth will be a better DPS than atomic in easy content like duos. Atomic will be about the same as Earth DPS-wise in a Raid.
