I can't wait to actually run arenas and face more enemies and less bad enemies. Seriously is it just me or do half of T5 PvP players not know how to counter properly...
Is not "rage over rage" first it was a forced crash from movement debuffs and now they choose a low value to the rage mechanic, while the other tanks can do the same without any risk or using two powers, is calling for balance but whatever. Speaking for fire, they remove the tank buffs when using a power so fire isnt gonna get the 60% health and 80% healing, fire tanks will have to rely on 5000 restoration + 1800 dominance to get some heals and their health will be raised to the same amount as the other tanks, which is 1.45 per point of dominance. On a side note, any one knows what happens with the super charges? they say something like they will adjust them but is there any numbers?
Makes no sense. Fire tanking is meant to rely on high health [not heals due to devs mucking that up]. Oh well. Hopefully they at least fix the healing of tank side.
This is just a theory, as far as i know ice isnt getting any thoughness buff, earth haves only a 25% damage absorption via brick or aftershocks and rage gets his "health buff per enemy around" removed, im saying that about fire just by pure logic, i could be wrong who knows. But we have to see what healing numbers a fire tank will get without a 80% healing buff but with 5000 resto + 1800 dom but one thing is sure, the fire tank self heals needs a tweak for a while so maybe this is the moment.
Well you might not like to hear this but fire's self heals were healing the same amount in dps and tank role when I tested it. My first reaction was wtf but just gotta see how it turns out I guess.
They reverted most of the pvp changes in today's test server update. I'm guessing they jumped the gun with releasing some of the changes early. Crits are still reduced in arenas as stated in the patch notes. Also, counter damage is still boosted by 50% in both arenas and legends. Legends counters went from 308 average damage to 575 average damage.
The counters are ridiculous now, I got 10K damage dealt to me by a counter and didn't last long afterwards. Disclaimer: 10k coming from 5k weapon and the other 5k from the counter itself and both were non-crits.
Between this business with counters, the gadgets revamp, the new home turf stuff and broken crowd control arenas has to be a complete wreck.
