    Dallas was 0-11-1 in 1960.

That was before both the NFL-AFL merger and the Super Bowl era, though. A lot of folks use the post merger/Super Bowl era for history reference in football, and Detroit has the distinction (if you can call it that) of being the only team in the Super Bowl/modern era to go winless.

That would be incorrect. The 1976 Buccaneers went 0-14. In fact, they lost the first 26 games in their history.

That's odd, I could have sworn all the announcers were saying Detroit was the only team to do so when it happened.

Ah, just checked and they're the only one to go winless in a 16 game season. That's probably what I was thinking of. Live and learn. :)

Honey Badger? What is he, a long haul trucker?

Boo this man of course we all know its the Jacksonville Jaguars...and I'm basing that off of feelings it seems to be working on Trump supporters so i have to start somewhere...

I think Detroit was the only team to lose 16 in a season....I know Detroit is my Dad's favorite team...don't know why we are from Florida...but hey.....Go Jaguars...

After this weekend's performance, Dak Prescott got his 1st NFL start. Do you guys expect him to
earn the backup job, this weekend? Also, do you guys expect Dallas to sign a veteran QB?

Hey, I'm from Michigan and a Lions fan, but for some reason I latched on to the Dolphins as a second team to follow (kinda necessary when you're a Lions fan LOL) so go figure. Go 'Fins, go Lions. :)

Lol I know the feeling....Jacksonville hasn't been in the hunt for a while...(unless you count high draft picks as in he hunt). So I've been rooting for Detroit, Cardinals, and Buffalo....as you can see only one of those teams lived up to expectations.

With the recent injury to primary backup OT Cameron Bradford, you can expect Dallas to make a signing
of an OT, this weekend. Also, we can expect to hear something about standout rookie HB E. Ellliott, this
    weekend.

I was going to quote Winston Wolfe from Pulp Fiction about Prescott but it would get me banned so I digress. As impressive as Prescott looked, we have to remember it was against a very vanilla gameplan. The 1st pre-season game isn't really a good indicator of how good a player is but it does give you a feel. So, the answer is, it probably depends. Do the Cowboys think they're real contenders this year, even without Romo or do they believe that their season rides on Romo so much that if he goes down, they're toast? If it's the former, they'll go shopping for a veteran. It's my understanding they're considering Josh McClown(still can't believe he AND his brother still have steady jobs in the NFL) although I'm not so sure Cleveland would be willing to part with him knowing RGIII's injury history. If it's the latter, then, yes, expect Prescott to not only be the backup but potentially the QB of the future.

Yeah, Jerry just said last night that Dallas will not be signing a veteran QB. After last night's performance,
I can see why. Dak Prescott was brilliant, last night. He impressed me, when I read his numbers, just now.
I went to bed early last night, so I didn't get to see it. Prescott went 12 of 15 for 2 passing TDs, no INTs,
and 2 rushing TDs. That QB Rating is like Peyton Manning impressive. Yeah, looks like Prescott has just
been named the official backup QB of the Dallas Cowboys. I think, this weekend he went from a 4th RD
draft pick to a Top 5 1st RD draft pick. Looks like, Dallas has a potential star franchise QB on their hands.

    Dak Prescott
    From last night's game
    QBR: 158.3 (Impressive!)

That performance makes this video from Star Wars: Episode VI - ROTJ come to mind.

    Darth Vader: "Impressive."
(Swings his lightsaber at Luke and misses.)
    Darth Vader: "Most impressive."

After watching the Jets and Redskins game, I firmly believe that Geno should start revising his resume. 4th year QB and his footwork is still a mess and still forces throws into double coverage. Petty should be considered for the No. 2 backup spot.

Yeah, looks like the future looks bright for Dak Prescott. He looks like a suitable replacement
whenever Tony Romo is ready to retire. I look forward to seeing him start full-time. He looks
like a special player. Like Eli Manning special. I am so glad Dallas drafted him.

Oh, the Broncos. How's Sanchez treating you guys? I heard he is having trouble beating rookies...again.
  19. ShazamFan2014 Loyal Player

Yeah, my best guess the Broncos will cut him loose by the end of the preseason. We'll see.

Yeah, and he's riding the bench. Mike S. is gonna start, this weekend.
