At least they've made it to and won the Super Bowl. Miami has but it's been a long time since they did, and Detroit has NEVER made it to a Super Bowl.

I'm married with 2 teenage girls...you have NO IDEA how much I'm dying for football !!!!

Oh and Rockhound, Bro how can you say "The Giants don't even belong on the same field as the Cardinals." ??

Really dude, ok so......the NYG will win the NFC East and has a good chance to be the #2 seed for the following reasons
NFC East is weak again this year

NYG play Browns, Lions, Rams, Saints, Ravens and Bears all very, very easy winnable games that with the games against Eagles, Redskins and Cowboys 2x can easily be 10 wins right there
Since the remaining games are against the Vikings, Packers Bengals, Steelers all on the road will be tough but if we can split them that's 12-4

Considering the NYG were blew 4 games last years in the final 2 mins because of shotty defense, which was addressed in the off season that's 10 wins

We have a QB that is a proven winner unlike Carson Palmer...who I do like and respect btw, but hasn't done anything past December.

We have a powerful offense and now an improved defense

Again, I'm not saying the NYG will be better then AZ this year, but to say they don't belong on the same field as them...please !!!

And don't bring up 2 seasons ago, that is sad because if you want to talk about past seasons you will loose that argument with a resounding thud.....LOL

ESPN said that Brees has about 2 more years left in him. The Saints need to spend their 1st RD pick on his replacement
in the next draft. He better be good. 2 seasons is enough time to develop into a decent starting QB.

Well they were 5-0 but now 5-1.

I'm just lucky I'm not a Bills fan.

I think there was a discussion recently on one of the ESPN shows about whether it's tougher to be a Bills or Lions fan. Or at least an article somewhere (can't seem to find it offhand).

Anyhow, one of the points made was that, even though they didn't win any Super Bowls in their runs, the Bills at least made it to the Super Bowl, and multiple times. Detroit has yet to make it through the playoffs. Add in the detail that Detroit's got the distinction of being a team that went winless one season and that might make it tough to top Detroit football fans in a pity party. LOL

I would think it would be tougher to be a Lions fan. They were a great team in the 50's but have had limited success since. The Matt Millen years have to be the hardest for Lions fans as he set that team back a decade culminating with an 0-16 season in 2008. That said, they had a good team 2 years ago and got jobbed against Dallas. Not that they would have beaten GB or Seattle but they still got Jobbed. Throw in that they had some pretty legendary players since they last won a NFL title with Billy Sims, Barry Sanders, Megatron, to name a few. The Bills, for all of their recent woes, will always be remembered. Maybe not the way they want to be remembered but no one else has ever gone to 4 straight Super Bowls. 30 for 30's Four Falls of Buffalo is a must watch(as it All or Nothing about my Cards from last season).

But if there is a fan base I really feel sorry for is the Browns. Since their entry into pro football(first with the AAFL then the NFL) when they dominated and again in the 60's with Jim Brown then to get oh so close in the 80's(The Drive and The Fumble are 2 phrases you might not want to utter in Cleveland). Then, Model moves the team to Baltimore where they've won 2 Super Bowls while the Cleveland was given a new team in 1999 but it's been one of the most mismanaged franchises in history. You'd swear Bill Bidwill took over that franchise.

1920 called. They want their "joke" back.

Also, it's 100X better than what you Euros call football and 1,000X better than that doink sport you all call rugby.

Yeah, can't deny how bad and frustrating the hand dealt to Browns fans has been, along with their own self-inflicted wounds. In addition to the stuff you mentioned, you've also got personnel choices that have ended up being pretty questionable. Johnny Football being a prime example.

Oh and as far as the Dallas call, I hear you. The flag against Dallas that was picked up was why I didn't have a problem with a potentially game-changing catch for Dallas being called incomplete in the game against Green Bay. :D Perfect example of how the football gods can give AND take away without warning.

HECK YEAH I'M READY FOR SOME FOOOTBAAALLL!

Going to be an interesting season for my Team. Texans are going all in on Brock Osweiler, they gave him some weapons by signing Lamar Miller and drafting Will Fuller. Texans should be a more vertical threat this coming season, that's something Texans fan don't see often. One of my main concerns is that the Texans did nothing to beef up their Offensive line, so Brock is gonna have to watch his back and get rid of that ball quick.

Texans Defense was ranked 3rd last season if I remember right, and hopefully that trend continues this season. Doesn't help that JJ Watt just had back surgery and may miss the first few games. Then when he does come back, how long will it take him to get back in Football shape? I assume he can't be active while recovering, but then again it is JJ Watt. He's may have super healing power? Anyways, now its time for Clowney to step up and be the #1 pick everyone thought he would be, no crybaby crap this, otherwise he goes on the list of #1 draft choice Busts.

Tonight, Dak Prescott was impressive. 10/12 for 139 and 2 TDs. I say he just cemented the
backup job. No need for a veteran QB. Though getting one would be preferable to relying on
a rookie, if Tony Romo should go down with a predictable reoccurring injury.

Also, before the game Center Travis Frederick signed a 6-year $56.4 million contract ext.
That makes him the NFL's highest paid Center. Its well deserved. He's a great player.

You want football follies, just show a highlight reel of the 2008 Lions.

Yeah, that was their infamous no win season. So pathetic. No even Dallas or Houston as done that. How 'bout them Cowboys?!
