2016 was the first year since launch that we didn't get at least 1 new power and after telling us that we were getting Serums and Water, it appears that not only are new powers on the back burner, they've been taken off the stove completely. Even on the main website it lists Water as coming soon: https://www.dcuniverseonline.com/guides/guide-character-basics-choose-your-power-dcuo And healer is 1 power behind. So, any word at all?
Right now according to the Developers Water is still next after the Stats-revamp is finished; but knowing how things can change around here I'm not gonna hold my breath on it. Just have to wait and see I guess.
Can you define shortly? I'm asking for real, because I haven't seen any time frame for revamp time specific or water. Only thing I've seen is when it's done and after revamp
And, sadly, that's all you will see until they make the official announcement. If anyone does give you a specific date, and their name isn't green, they are straight up lying to you, as no date has been revealed/leaked/spoken/printed/stated by anyone from the company yet. The devs -n- such have said that it will be coming after the Stats Revamp update. However, the Stats Revamp is a pretty hefty undertaking and a pretty big deal to the health of the game over all. And, yes, it is taking a bit of time for the Revamp to come out; but, with something this large, you want it to take all the time it needs and then some. The last thing I (and many others) want is yet another piece of rushed content that breaks the game requiring more rushed updates which add further garbage to it. Just be a bit more patient and all will happen ... Soon (TM).
Why I asked...maybe you knew something because you said " We'll be getting Water shortly after Stat Revamp. Probably along with the Aquaman stuff." Which would lead many to believe June(ish). After 6 yrs on the game and forums I assumed different My best guess is Revamp in August/Sept and maybe....just maybe water this year
Maybe Arcane? or Wind? Might as well have all elements. Got Ice, Electricity, Fire, Earth. Still missing Wind / Air, Water ("coming soon"), Metal.
Ok just saying first serums was scrapped for a few reasons partly the message it would send about drugs plus how much the community was screeming how they hated the power and did not want it. Second they have said a few times after stats matters water to be released. We are getting close for stats matters did you check on that before making a pointless thread? Probably not. And fyi water was talked about years ago as a power to be release and basically the only additional info on it is that the powers will be based on aqua lad and mira aquamans wife i think who knows any more just stop take a breath and dont worry about your instant gratification of demanding something. But i will say we are closing in on 8 months for a main episode and the major events seem to be a little small. Dont get me wrong i like the members only thing and all but i wish some of the randomness for the alerts and duos would stop. Just give us 3 duos and 3 alerts and make one of each of them a harder thing the the others in each class and give us a flipping elite alert again
