Appropriate response to a undergeared in the raid

A full set of 92 gear with VI mods barely gets you to 106.

Looks to me like you've got some 92 pieces, and you're only 104.

I personally don't complicate myself. Lately my time is very valuable. If I can't go with my league and I'm forced to PUG then whatever threatens my valuable time is kickable. It is funny because some times I just start a vote to excuse myself when I no longer want to participate in a failing group, usually people votes against it, then well... Or you kick them or you desert.

There are these things called alerts, duos and solos that people grind to get marks for better gear. Being in 90 gear means u havent run even 1 t6 alert and someone like that is in t6 raids? I would kick instantly if i saw that. Shows me that player is lazy imo.

That's the problem with the community. Ur kicking ppl that want to get gear but when they try u freakin kick them. I've been there and it aint fun.

I understand time constraints and do not judge those especially if everyone in the group gets it.

Time is valuable and i get it. So if u only have 2 hrs to play this then find a way to get a effective group together on ur own.

When the other 7 grp members are doing their jobs and 1 is barely doing his or not doing it at all now means the other need to catch up the slack bcuz of the lower guy.

If 6 horses are pulling a carriage coach and 5 of the horses are top notch but the last horse isnt as fast, maybe hes a little clueless and lost. His reaction time is slow ect ect. it then means the other 5 horses have to work harder to accomplish their goal bcuz they have a slacker horse.The 5 need to do the extra work that the slacker horse isnt doing. Basically the 5 horses are carrying him to their destination. So who worked harder? The 5 horses or the 1 slacker horse? Kinda hard to believe that people dont knw what carrying is in the game these days and wanna somehow twist it. If any player is in a t6 raid thats a pug raid and they are wearing lvl90 gear?

Means if they are a troll their vit will be low, if they dps there dmg will be low, healer resto will be low and tanks health will be low and he could die alot bcuz his health isnt high enough to take some attacks and the rest of the grp WILL need to make up for it by healers having to heal more to keep em alive which in turn means the trolls need to dump more pwr to the healers so they can spam to keep the under geared tank alive. See how that works? Im guessing u wont get it

This is an mmo, it has and always will have a grind so grind your gear to run the content, simple. U wanna skip stuff and sneak in my grps to get carried? Uhhh nah not ganna happen. There are 3 t6 alerts to run, get marks, buy gear from the vendor. And funny are u not 1 of the guys saying all gear should be on vendors? Well its been there since dlc8 and now u say its too much to grind for that gear? THERE ARE NO WORDS FOR PEOPLE LIKE THIS ANYMORE. No matter what they are not satisfied and will complain no matter what the topic is.

Let me say this again, if a player is in 90 gear it means they went as far as t6 duos. They didnt run TD, didnt do the AF daileys and get their marks to buy 92 gear. And if they had HoP they then had 2 more alerts that dropped 93 gear and they could of spent marks on 94 vendor gear. They have done none of this and i should raid with them when my entire grp is at least full 94 vendor gear? NO NO NO. Know how my entire league got full 92 and 94 gear? We grinded the non raid instances and geared up. Most end game players do this and the person that the topic is about is in end game raid content. What it basically comes down to is that player didnt want to do any of the grind at all, he wants other grps to carry him thru the raids so he can get better gear as drops to skip doing any of the grind and all the while performing below average in the raid or raids.

Seems odd there was a thread 2 days ago about is sp or gear better. Most said gear, so how can this player not gear himself up for the raids? My entire league ran HoP to death to make sure when we stepped foot into the new raid yesterday and 2day that we had the proper gear for it. And even at full 94 zantanna, WW, and carol can 1 shot u. They also have attacks that hit u for high dmg #s that wont kill u in 94 gear but your health is very low. Now a guy in all 93 would die from those attacks everytime. I watched it happen with a league m8 who brought his lower alt into love and war 2day and we had to constantly keep picking em up.

I will run with and give anyone a chance as long as they are not lazy and pay attention. A guy in only 90 gear is lazy imo and yes i would kick 100 out of 100 times with a player like that. Same with the 1s that u explain the fight to 10 times and they still dont get it and wipe us. Yea i want my runs somewhat smooth and in a reasonable amount of time. Ive put the time in to have full insect raid gear with 175sp, if i can do it, so can anyone else.

First things first, don't PUG - I know someone has already said it, and they were right. second?

Second, give someone a chance to prove that they can outshine the limitations of their gear before you kick them out of a group. Boots should be reserved for poor sportsmanship or a refusal to be a team player, IMHO - poor performance I will kick for if someone is also a poor sport, but kicking out of hand for gear or SP = nasty elitist behavior. Yes, it's your time - if you wanna be using it wisely, take that five minutes and stitch together a group.

I beg to differ : the "at level gear" is by no means obtained only in raids.
I dare to say this DLC is pretty well structured regarding that fact : there should NOT be undergeared ppl in T6 raids now. They get access to easily completed solos, duos and alerts to get some well needed 96 and even 97 (through Fury marks).
I am by no mean elitist but undergeared ppl are just lazy ppl trying to bypass the content : definitely not a good way to handle HL raids. Or maybe they are not lazy, they are just in a hurry. Well, then, play solo, or choose another game since MMOs take time to reach the upper levels.

i find typing "i'm in an instance.no dont know how long i'll be...these guys are idiots" in group chat followed up with an "oh sorry that was meant for league chat" usually does the trick.

O my, I see you are a bit low on the gear side. If we fail here, how about I take you through a few alerts with some of my league mates. That way when we end up in a raid again we will do much better.

Being in Necro, before nerf, no wipes, at 7mil damage at least tripling the rest in damage.(Been there done that)
Also seen trolls do about 15-25% of the main troll in power out, should be more like 50% I believe.
Best example of a tank few days ago in Necro: Standing behind the group using dps moves (Yes he gains agro, I know) but grabbing the adds straight into the group while wearing 90-91 gear. Something was telling me either he was trolling the group or he was tanking his first time. No matter how many times we asked him to actually tank the adds away from the group he just kept going (Ignorance = #1 reason to kick imo)
And healers, well usually solo heals nowadays.. If I die and get up I usually pop a cola if its off cooldown, if I occasionally don't, I expect my health to be filled asap and not having me sit there on 3% hp for like 10 seconds or even when I take damage and stay low for a good while. I expect to be bumped up asap, it's what I tend to do as well.
