Anyone Ready for a Funeral for a Friend?

Anyone else expecting to hear word from some of our favorite Green named individuals in regards to upcoming content?

I for one, anticipate news released today regarding the Death of Superman.

I've got my funeral suite all pressed and ready.

Bring on DOOOMSDAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(PS. Hopefully they take this opportunity to make Dooms a legends as well...hint, hint.).

I've been expecting it for a while. There first part has to go live in the next 17 days to make it in April, and I would think at least some testing would need to be done.

No testing needs to be done because it's just a time capsule and some reclaimable styles for the first part

IMO, this may be their make or break moment, I pray we aren't in for more of the same, cosmetics over substance.

"Bunch of easy content with a lot of style rewards" and I stand by that. I'm not expecting anything mind blowing from this event

I for one hope it is easy content since it will be an event after all. I think, for me at least, that events can be fun, interesting, and easy at the same time.

I want a doomsday fight that's not a complete joke. Even in SM he was easy.

Yeah, it would be nice if there was an interesting mechanic in the event fight with Doomsday that didn't just rehash the Smallville mechanic. That's honestly my biggest fear with the event.

The announcement for it in early February says "This celebration will be a series of new, free content additions, available to all players."

So I'd expect at least one instance every month. It is very possible that the first month includes a TC, but there should be stuff to do as well (which would need testing).

I want to get face smashed by DOOMSDAY! Anything less, why bother? There is only one way to make this story line great, it has to have the grit of the comics. Everyone got their *** handed to them by Doomsday, even Superman.

Considering it's Friday and it's supposed to start Wednesday, if we don't see anything go on test server today, best bet is we're starting with something style related.

True, and I understand that sentiment. I'm not saying I want Doomsday to be a pushover or anything. I just hope they can balance it to where it isn't frustrating yet not simply copy and paste the Doomsday fight from Smallville to downtown Metropolis.

The current and upcoming events thread just says April-June, no specific dates. While the 18 to would be ideal for it to start, that has not been promised in any way.

Yep, I'm done with Deluge content about an hour or less after I log in. Usually less.

Yes. The conversion of marks kind of ruined this content for me. 235cr on the first day, lol. So yeah, I'm bored. Plus, I don't try and get every OP piece. If one seems easy, like the E3 head and neck, I'll grind for it.
