You can actually do this mission on your own as you can gain credit in 2 different ways.

1 way is to kill the Shadow Demon Archons that are roaming the streets, balanced as Alert boss NPCs designed for 4 players. The other way is to prevent them from spawning in the first place. The second method is soloable, as demonstrated from 5:40 in my video:
