According to the announcement we should report these delay issues and other problems through the ticket system. I did that, and the GMs took a lot of time and exchanged many messages diligently trying to help. However, they eventually said that they are usually not responsible for these issues and that we should post such problems in the forum. On the other hand, the Devs advises us to report these issues through the ticket system (delay topic in announcements). Now I am very confused and wondering what to do. Where should we report this problem? Should we report it here or bump this thread? Or should we open tickets potentially taking up a GM's time who might have other tasks if they cannot assist with this issue?
That's exactly what I expected would happen if we followed the instructions to create a ticket. This is extremely frustrating information.
devs are you guys really not gonna reply to this?? 5 sec delay in elite raids/alerts not even playable at all...
They want us to report it via support ticket. Even if it's not the right way. So just report everything related to that there and here I would say. Until we get an answer the new TCs will be anounced and the episode 48 knocks on the door. At least it feels like that. Just giving the bare minimum as rare as possible
Lag Spikes: Open World, Duo, Alert, Raid, House of Legends, Watchtower etc. It would lag at random times. I have noticed it more so in the Episode 47: Hall of Doom Alert 2nd boss (parasite/ursa etc) From that room of the fight to the end is extremely laggy.
The issue in the alert (Brainiac: Hall of Doom) is not only lag, is mainly FRAME RATE skips. Which only happens in the rooms where there is gas or orbitals. I believe this is a separate issue from the current lag issue but yes, there is lag also.
I always wondered why you guys never worked on Elite plus gear. My next question is will you just skip Elite plus gear and work on lag plus gear people are literally dropping like flies lol. I would totally vote for keeping the lag and increasing Elite gear stats since people who have elite gear don't really see much of a difference in stats for all that hard work. Honestly Elite gear stats are criminal just saying
Can we please fix the lag in the new content the frames are so bad its slightly unplayable especially when trying to play the elite content. This needs to be fixed asap! And we of the community need at least some confirmation that its being looked into or at least worked on behind the scenes.
Are they looking at it like… Or are they looking at like… See! You as the staff may be annoyed at the constant “are we there yet” but… WE, as the paying clientele have ‘ENDURED’ this for just a tad now!! And it’s not just this; The ps5 is horrific! The chat is busted (and has been forever now) the game will just randomly kick. Actually! I was gonna really bang on there about all the bugs. But it would take hours to write!! “We’re looking into it” is what you say several hours after reports start going in. “We’re looking into it” several months into an issue doesn’t really cut it! And if it’s not clear enough, the paying customers have lost all patients, and want answers! Actually! They want resolution. They want updates about what’s happening! (Even if they don’t understand the technicalities of it” they want to know in percentages how close to a resolution youse are. Not one line sentences, that have been repeated 1000 times.
Please add to their list to address the Voice Chat issue. I'm on PC however most of my league is PS and we both experience the same issues with the volume either being too high or low when someone logs in or switches toons. To remedy we have to constantly adjust the volume in Settings or switch channels and come back to the channel of choice. Tired of asking "Can you hear me" to everyone like we're all suffering from hearing loss.
1) offtopic - this here is about the delay issues. 2) ingame voice is buggy but you know there are ways to avoid the low quality ingame voice yea? Like party's or discord.
Do you truly believe you or any of us deserve an exhaustive list of all the actions being taken by the engineering team? What else are they supposed to say other than they are looking into it? They obviously, haven't found a fix yet. You all act like it's as simple as replacing a battery. Anything they do could break the game even further, so they have likely been performing a lot of trial and error looking for the best solution. I'm sure we all have other games to play while they do their thing. Some people may not come back if it takes too long. Chalk it up to the game. Any company with a faulty product is going to expect churn of their customers/ clients.
Maybe reach out to some of the old staff and see if they are available on a short term contractor basis? We've had this before and they were able to fix it within a few days to a week. This is going on to week 7.
What?! Of course we “deserve” explanations as to what’s happening! WE’RE THE CUSTOMERS!!! Who should be kept apprised if not the paying customers? ‘Folks, we think the problem is in the x, and we’ve been running tests to pinpoint where’ etc. We think we’re about 80% there, but… it may still take some time. We’ll issue regular updates via the forums on the progress. Yeah! I think your paying customers ******* deserve an explanation! And not some one liner. Merely written down as more a placation, for the growing animosity, than a genuine concern. No-one has said the problem is a simple fix. But it’s going on some two months now. And it’s actively getting worse! Ya know?! The opposite of better? Groups are CONSTANTLY being met with unkillable ads, and having to disband or wipe and stay wiped until the ads respawn. But they don’t! And they stand there, unkillable!! Ppl get pissed off, and leave. re-runs of raids are now very frequent; and the alert. The alert is so lagged, that at times - you can’t even pull of a shuriken storm. And As a tank, fire or rage, you rely on self-healing a fair bit! Bit hard to do when you died 3 seconds before you see it on the screen, and suddenly you have a barrage of negative hits fly outta you, like you’ve just been the victim of a speed hack in pvp! As grodd and bane are stood spanking it all over your downed body. But the biggest gfys to the customers - is the silence! They should be sending someone on here daily or weekly with updates. Like, say!… a community manager. With messages of reassurance and updates as to where they are. AND as a ‘we’re sorry for the continued distribution’ we’re going to be running x2 SM week’s consecutively, as a thank you for your patients and understanding.
