This should be priority with a new dlc coming that has a raid with multiple bosses it will be unplayable.
Gotta vote with our wallets on this one. I’m completely over the delays at this point and with a new DLC coming I’m ready to cancel membership and close my wallet to any future purchases. This not only should have been top priority, however, there has been no word or any recognition from Daybreak. Everything else that needed said has already been articulated in this thread multiple times.
I didn't even bother playing or trying to log in today. The lack of acknowledgement is huge, the lack of information about fixing the issue is speaking volumes.
Try the Can't Stop mission in Central City right now. You have to be a step ahead of the citizens trapped in the speed force to free them...
No can do: I actually had to make a new thread because the game was acting all types of funny today. I didn't want to even play with all the crap out was giving me, and I'm a daily veteran player lol. They need to fix this PS5 client, and the issues. This next dlc, although it looks good, is starting to look like it's going to be a catastrophe on live 5. Might have to go back to Ridge Racer on psOne, Galaxian 13, here I come lol.
What's wrong with Daybreak!? I mean, come on, any other developer would have worked hard on this problem and released a patch as soon as possible, but these people at Daybreak want to keep the problem quiet... I'm starting to think they can't and won't change anything for whatever reason, maybe to save money? I have no idea.... I usually look forward to a new episode, but this time I have absolutely zero itch.
Lag incredibly bad today, again, for the 6th week straight.. can only assume its open sabotage at this point.
This is totally unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately by the devs. Relogging and/or restarting the game doesn't even "fix it" anymore.
What makes it worse is apologists in game keep saying it’s me not the game but when I log off cause I can’t take it and play another game like eso suddenly zero issues … Fix this please you have a dlc coming out you’re gonna have people who left for a long break coming back soon who might not even bother to stay if they feel this lag.
I expect there is about to be a ton of feedback regarding this issue when players return. We may see that upvote number double in a short amount of time.
When people return for the new rehashed episode. The population will jump significantly; and with it - the lag/animation delay (whatever this is) is going to make it unplayable. Even the ps4 is suffering, where it wasn’t that much previously. This clearly is of no concern!! It’s going on WEEKS now! The ps5 is just a disaster! Imagine having to dump the latest client, because it’s practically unplayable?
restart dcuo. but on Unreal Engine 5. that way. the new devs dont have a hard time working with old engine script adjustments. basically keep same format. but rebuild. and u can improve there only thing id change is how we customize char.
We're 30 hours away from either an absolute miracle or the most F'd up episode launch in DCUO history. And that's saying a lot considering how bad many of the launches have been.
It's gotten so bad now, it takes 6+ relogs to fix the delay on our characters, and even then there still is a chance of the instance itself being bugged with enemies getting their effects and damage on us before they do their animation... Even the forums are incredibly laggy, where it takes 5 minutes to load pages. I would rather this be fixed than having a new episode launched.
I think youse have enough “upvotes” to maybe start even acknowledging this, wouldn’t youse say so?! Ya know?! - considering that one person was able to post a thread about their base wall missing (the same base that your producer was extremely proud of) and have the thread acknowledged, and put down as a “top bug” just that first post was acknowledged and given immediate priority, whilst the ps5 has been an absolute **** show, and the lag/delay has spread to the ps4 and others now. How long is it youse truly believe people will put up with this? Love/addiction/nothing else to play etc only lasts so long, before even the most die-hard tells your company, and the game to gfys! Do youse really not get how angry people are at this? Or that it’s not your job to inform the customers, it’s a CM’s job. No-one gaf who informs us, people want informed about what’s happening in their investment. That’s what this is! This game is an investment that they’ve paid/continue to pay for. It’s not even a fake any longer! It’s the upkeep of a chore.

Thanks for sharing. But tbh it's just an way to late try to calm ppl down while bringing new episode and hoping that some of us buying stuff from the MP. In my opinion. What pretend them to let us know that they are aware of this for month? And now this "maybe you will experience some lags". Maybe? 100% we will. It's just like marvel heros omega here.
giving me hard flashbacks here. I was raised on 80s 90s marvel, so grinding omega was some weird nostalgiac pleasure (and I had wicked luck unlocking toons I liked without spending a dime, only time). That shuttering overnight was... something else. Personally, I was just delegated to respond to someone at my place of business who asked something more than a week ago when the answer should've taken minutes to find out. From that perspective, I try to not shoot the messenger, but still give a side eye to who delayed sending the messenger.
