Basically some powers animations are getting a little delay for no reason, it's not due to lag or FPS, whenever you login your character there's a chance you will be affected by this, and the only fix is a relog. This delay makes channelling abilities such as finishers very annoying to use, as it makes us getting stuck in the animation dealing no damage for a second or so. From my experience, water and fire makes it easy to know you are being affected, but other powers such as celestial or gadgets need to use their finishers to notice if this is or isn't happening. (Of course you can just jump cancel out of finishers, but it's so much better to have the animation synced with the damage and not have to worry about this bug).
Feeling the same issues. Rezzing in combat a.e. from today's homE, is also delayed. The characters standing at least 1to2 seconds longer on the animation of revive. Circle are sulk but you stand still there.
I experienced the same animation delay last night on USPC. When I activated my water shield, my character does the animation but the shield appears a few seconds later. Similarly, when I activated the shark ability, my character would do the hand animation but the shark did not appear until after a few seconds. Not sure if this is related or an isolated incident but, I also encountered an unkillable enemy in Gotham Under Siege around the same time. One of the 'Essence Enriched Shades' could not be damaged by my attacks. They could damage me. Krypto ally could damage them to quarter health but Angelic Drone Pet could not. The nearby Shades could be defeated normally.
Made a thread about this about 10 days ago, no answer yet. Everything is still delayed, counters on bosses, damage, and animations. even the forums are laggy. The servers are hanging on by a thread it seems.
I've always described this as being out of sync. Many times when this is happening, your actual character movements will also appear as invisible while your phantom body will appear motionless elsewhere in the instance.
Comparison of casting Hardlight Shield while the bug is happening and while it isn't A simple and quick logout and login immediately fixed it, so it isn't lag or bad internet. Seems like it's caused by something going wrong during the process where the character is first loaded in the server upon login. Also, this is affecting more than just the powers. When I was tanking and noticed the bug, I noticed my breakouts were being delayed too.
Hmm, my gadgets and water characters so far always got the bug removed in 1 relog, whereas my rage needed 3 relogs today to get back to normal...
Push! The lags/delays are still there, even quite weirdly. The animations are lightning-fast for example, when reviving a teammate. However, you still stay for two seconds on the seemingly completed circle which actually isn't finished yet.
Can confirm, delays on my water animations and rage tank. Relogging does fix it, although, sometimes I really notice the delay either immediately after logging into a character or after playing the same character for a period of time.
Last night, I also experienced breakout delays. There were also delays in activating the acrobat movement glide and rocket launch. Additionally, there was a delay in turning cogs (open world mission interactions like removing the curse from Cursed Civilians or transforming Amazons to Beastiamorphs in Metropolis for the Giganta mission in the early game)
I only have this problem when I switch armories. For example when switching to single target ( quantum) Einstein ray and the finisher takes longer to finish animation
Experienced this last night, and logged in with it still going on. Am a nature toon and it affectsd both Damage and Healer roles (I assume transformations too, I don't use them). The only thing not delayed is my shield, I assume because it's usable while controlled. Otherwise, serpent call, harvest, briar, impaling thorns, flourish, and roar all having to wait on each other to complete animations and like, a half second after, to use another ability- unless I interrupt with shield (which has a cool down, so limited use). Also, harvest doesn't even display on the screen anymore. Am on US PS4.
Can confirm. My gadget prec is super delayed but only within content. In HOL on sparring targets it’s perfectly fine. When I get into a raid and try jump canceling my mines, I’m stuck with longer animations and slower weapon combos. Super annoying and has been happening for the past week or so.
Another day, another delay - feels like the game is stuck in a time loop! Would explain something - scarce info, delayed updates, "outdated"test server. Maybe the devs are trapped in the loop themselves
