AM is underpowered!!

    I do. Explain how I'm misinformed. Nothing Rage has negates the crit. Nothing. If you think otherwise perhaps you are the one misinformed.

    Again; what is wrong with this community? Here is a dude just on a full out attack without any reason and with 0% of the facts on his side.

    Noob Question Alert - Where can I find what exactly all the Awesome Mechanics are? Since weapon mastery came out I keep hearing about awesome mechanics but never fully understood them. Thanks

    Our top DPS right now are electricity and sorcery. I am running fire's awesome mechanic and hanging with the top powers. Might be time for people to admit that the revs got it right. If the next set of gear has precision to might ratios like the current, powers will take over the leaderboards again.

    I've made a fire toon specifically for the Fire AM. It's just too fun to not want to use.

    How are you modding? Are you going straight might in your reds, or prec/might?

    Also... when I electric heal a raid that one of my electric DPS buddies is in... I setup some of his PIs and get his DoT to full strength w/o him having to wait 12 sec for eGen to cooldown.

    You seem to fail to realize that dots are more powerful over time in RAIDS. That is why some people call certain power sets "raid powers". At least back then they did. Nature and electricity power is within long periods of combat combing a balance rotation of dots and amazing burst damage in correlation with wm. Combing all of this situational advantages..nature and electricity are tough customers. This is way I beat pug, league members and friends and the best part..am not even modded.

    Yeah something needs to negate the crit bonus. This "can't use both at same time" excuse is nonsense. If other powers have actual powers that restrict them then Rage has to follow suit.

    I disagree with the term "raid power".I'm electric and I beast everything lol.So your argument is invalid.By the way if you want I can give anyone a loadout for burst/dot for electric.:)

    i agree, the new raids are a nice place for electrics advanced mechanic. voltaic bolt is almost back to its old strength and i love using it again.
    nevertheless, i still would like to have the low and not upgraded dots to work with weapon mastery crits! just to have more variety in our loadouts.

    my opinion about rage is, that it is not as OP as the most people here want it to be. it's only the berserk-weapon mastery-outrage combination which is useful in the alerts, but not that much in the raids.
    when berserk is running you should not get the weapon mastery crit bonus imho.

    You have to mod straight might in reds, spec skills for it, and chug a cola just to beat a mid level power using WM but it is viable and the competition I face is top notch.

    Ok how do I put this..when we say RAID powers what we mean is the old loudouts that showed the unique this of a power. Like the "advance mechanics" in nature. Example, Nature can now do regular burst loudouts like other powers borrowing mental PI however this loudouts are at their best in alerts. If I switch to a dot loudout it dominate inside of raids. This is why we call this powers raid powers because nature never had terror back in the day. I guest I should call them raid loudouts now..crap.

    In red sockets: prec. and might

    In blue sockets: might and *BLANK*(whatever you want WITH might)

    In yellow sockets: might and *BLANK*(whatever you want WITH might)

    That is fire dps moding.

    RED SOCKETS ALWAYS PREC AND MIGHT!

    You are nuts....I use the AM for Nature and I can beat many others who focus solely on using WM...You have to balance the AM and WM usage to get the most damage out. I know with HL character, I have two power power where I combo and I end up being very good at a DPS...

    My earth uses the AM Crush PI along with Crystal... and guess what...again great DPS values....

    That explains all three of my toons...people need to stop complaining about the AM and learn how to use it to maximum damage...jeez...

    Same for nature...

    I do have to say that in instances where bosses have higher health...Nature and Electricty will dominate due to the constant DOT...

    Why would you mod precision when you rarely use you weapon and get a 15 % boost to might? I think you should read the whole thread. All you're doing is spamming powers. That precision is worthless.

    The best rotations that do the most damage have a completementary of powers and weapon damage. That is nothing knew..that fact was here before weapon mastery.

    I agree, since creating this thread I've actually experimented around with AM powers and managed to top the leader boards in necro and artifacts, so it may not be underpowered you may just need to experiment for a while to find the right balance between WM and AM.
