Confirmed Aggressive Protection Affinity Mod Flat Out Doesn't Work

different visual. the PDF/ Absorption mod both have that static HLS bubble look, the "aggressive protection" activation brings up a white circle overlay divided in octants like giant crosshairs.

Still doesn't work yet.

LOL. If you scroll way up there's a comment from me over a year and a half ago saying to works for me. I later realized it was the absorption adapter. Apparently it's an easy mistake to make for us survivability minded DPS's.

Still bugged. Jussaassaaaaaayin.

Type C Elite affinity mod "Aggressive protection" isn't working AT ALL on Gadgets, probably other powers too.

We really need a better bug reporting system.

Correct. It doesn’t work at all. It hasn’t for quite some time.

I mean it's got 16 likes. It would be nice to have at least one dev reach out for commentary, even if it's not getting fixed tomorrow.

2 1/2 years later it's...yup, you guessed it...still not working at all.

Are you sure? If so, hopefully there will be some new upvotes or a dev response.

I haven’t tested it in the last year or so. But I assume if it got fixed it would have been in patch notes and the tag on this thread would have been updated. So assuming that those things would have accompanied a fix and considering the absence of a fix mentioned in patchnotes and this threads tag, I’m pretty sure it’s still not working at all.

I know the dev team is shorthanded and over burdened. But at this point, it’s becoming a tradition. So in honoring this not so age old tradition…

Imagine if Dash Attack stopped doing what the description says…or anything at all.

Imagine if an affinity mod had the same value as an active use power?

Well, it’s the only slot C mod that would be of any use in DPS role and DPS is the one role every player can play as. But not everyone is a specific movement mode or power. So yes, powers are more impactful, but that mod bot working can potentially affect any player, not just a defined finite group of players.

I testeed it today, and it's still broken. As far as I can tell, it does nothing whatsoever. I sat there and recast my weapon buff over and over while mobs beat on me in Dakota City. Nothing.
