Agreed, and both ruin the game for everyone. Just pointing out console wouldn't be the fairplay paradise that was being purported. They've proven pretty adept at finding exploits, especially ones only doable by console players, and that was with them being able to run a burner account on a laptop so they didn't have to bother trying to poke holes in the code.

Lately I've been paired with PC speedhackers few times even in the Stabilizer event with some of my alts.... so lame, I won't bother commenting further.

Im not saying that im defending speed hackers. But as a brother thats been down and out before in life, I respect people who get it how they livin. And these scammers arent like the ones i grew up with or the corner bois i know.. these guys are literally helping people who are in the missions come up with them! Of course someone who alr has everything they want doesnt wanna see a new comer coming up.

I hate these kinds of post especially the LPVE ones because people who are doing this in these missions arent getting any gear that you cant, no marks that you cant.. they’re just getting skill points & helping others get them too. Maybe if the devs sold sp people who join the game 5-10 years late wouldnt have to resort to this.

Theres probably 20 truely active people on these forums, we all argue with each other on every post... in no way should 19 people saying dont sell skill points stop the devs from selling them to a large majority that would be willing to buy 25-30 sp for $50

If the devs took care of us people wouldnt have to do stuff like that ( they still will but wouldnt have to). just like if the gov payed people better people wouldnt have to resort to crime ( some still would, but they wouldnt have to) and thats just how i see it.

Having 200 skill points after you legitimately got to current cr trying to run new missions is like only having having $200 in your bank account after working 40hrs a week the day before $500 rent is due... sometimes u just gotta do what u gotta do

I really don't want to get involved in this but good lord man, you're justifying crime in real life because ethe government doesn't hand out money? And then condoning cheating because people need to come up quickly? Can you not see how terrible of an outlook that all is?

They do sell sp, it's in time capsules. And anything you get from them can be sold on broker to buy more sp. And then since it is a video game and you should enjoy playing it, gaining sp that way is an option. The players that are speed hacking/ taking part in it will not spend money they don't have to because they're already most likely proud that they're getting everything they want by cheating. And since the hackers are charging players, don't think they're some sort of "giving back to the community angels" cuz they ain't. They're just capable cheaters turning profits off of the non skilled cheaters

So the people who are using it to beat Survival (there will be...you know it) or to get current SFFE or COUE feats...or 1 DLC old FGSE? Those feats should just be on sale so then people will stop doing it? Sounds logical....by all means proceed.

I can almost understand someone using it to go kill 5000 reapers in 10 min vs 3 hours...or to do LPVE which is tedious and stupid and pointless even at 10x....but I've seen people hacking OW bounties...SFF EVENT runs and reg raid runs...even the stabilizer duo. You are trying to say that those are a byproduct of those SP being 'unattainable' or the runs/fights being too hard to do without them?

That's stretching....even for you. By all means, keep requesting the SP for sale....odds are it will happen someday, but I'd say don't tie it to some sort of cure for speedhackers....it's not.

But log on and look at the old feats from early on dlc like anything before t8 ... how many of those do u really think someone can really get 5 years after everyone quit playing the dlc. If u just run through every mission in the game 1-2x you’ll probably come up with around 150-200 sp maybe possibly, probably way less.. I challenge you to make a new account on playstation/ pc level it up 1-30 then try to level T1- to current and see just how long it takes to even get a que for those old missions! Now u gonna say “ UsE LfG aNd fOrM a GrOup” dude u can sit and shout for a war of the light group all day n you not gonna get one... step out of the elite mindset, yes it possible to get to 500 sp if you start on a new account in 2021.. but i just dont see how likely it is.. if i had to throw a % at it id say new players have about a 30% likelihood to reach even 250 sp if they joined today.

Im talking about LPVE, not survival mode. Theres no way to stop people from doing it in one mode and not the other but bc sm is only up for a month and people have been tryna get those lpve feats for years i say go w the lesser of 2 evils. Me personally ive never even played Lpve before i hated lpvp so i never thought to give it a try.. ill get those feats if they go on sale one day, if not im not stressing.

I believe sp should be sold If a dlc is 5 or more old and you own it ( spending the $10 or legendary) u should be able to buy the feats. Im sure they’ll be for sale one day and probably will even have a system in place like what i said.

Selling cr boosters without sp is setting groups up to fail. These people are paying to boost characters that they wont even be able to play in current end game.

Honestly, in the end, I end up understanding the people who go through the speed hack act, because when you see the community that Daybreak is looking for today, which Daybreak created with the skip CRs, I understand the people who go through this type of means.

Nowadays, the raids have levels of difficulty sometimes incomprehensible, the players don't know how to play anymore, hardly half of them apply the strats of the instance in question, or when they manage to apply them, sometimes you manage to die anyway, without knowing the "why", without forgetting the tanks have less and less value considering the difficulty of the elite raids, but when you see their life falling down it's amazing, by force, this game ends up being confusing on many points !!!

Just take the elite event raid, I often try to do it in elite and pick up, not a group has yet managed to pass, it falls like flies, and the boss's strat is just horrible and yet, it's not even at the current level !

If you want my opinion, only Daybreak is responsible for that !

Political stuff aside (its a dead end on a game forum), using LFG is exactly how you should do it. Agreed that you will spend a LOT of time getting a full group of 8 together, that's where some sort of AdjustableQueueSize (see how I worked that in?), would help. Walkins, teleporters, AQS would eliminate MOST of the need to spend hours shouting to get in. So that's one issue off the table. I will agree that some feats will get prohibitive later like the bounty spams and LPVE, as the TIME involved in getting them done will get worse and worse as they fall back further donw the DLC roster...as opposed to a lot of older DLC feats which get easier and easier as long as you can GET INTO the content. That is the main enemy of new users getting feats done.

I was just throwing SM in as it's an example where the SP have nothing to do with what is going on, and WILL happen, but LPVE is a good example. Some people hacked those feats...why? For the 3-4 SP they were missing? As you say, it's not worth stressing over, so why stress not having them? I'm of the same mind, I only ran a handful of runs on my main, choosing to instead run my PC account to get the teamups and other 'non count' feats done. That PREMIUM 18-20 month old account is closing in on the 500 SP mark BTW...so it is possible.

Selling SP might cure the issue for a handful, but even then, why spend $50 for those 20-30 SP when you can just get your hacker buddy to do them for you? BTW. I think you are right and someday SP will be directly on sale...at least in some way like 'count' boosters or something.

And yes...they should NOT sell or give away the CR boosts. While it would mean a lot of players can't jump right in at endgame or near, it would force them to have to plow through some of the older stuff, gaining SP along the way...intentionally or not...as well as some experience...again...intentionally or not. This is of course also not going to happen as they've only doubled down last year with 2 skips vs the 1 in previous years.

Also, anyone paying to get a CR Boost (Vs using the free one...or on top of it) is kookie. Assuming you are using it on an alt as many or most of us do, you have the option of buying your feats on that new toon. On a new account or new user, ya get what you pay for...which was free. Anyone buying one of these things on a 1st toon is nutty. They are screwing themselves by doing that.

Speed hackers are guys who are moving much much faster than a normal character. They tend to burn down bosses in seconds. I think you’re looking too deep into it lol.

You’ve been playing the game since atleast 2014 so u know what your doing and possibly leveled that account with help from a league ( if those are even still things besides names below ur character) i just wouldnt put you a veteran player with 2 separate end game accounts in the same boat as someone who is new to the game in 2019-20-21.

Someone who picked the game up during covid free to play ( i kinda think open episodes will be a forever thing now) probably had no idea that the character booster was gonna give them a trash character let alone that in January they would give us 2 free ones

Kind of correct on the since 2014 (although it was early 2013 I think), but wrong on the league escort(all leagues I'm in save one toon are leagues of 1...me). 95% of my SP are from running solo or in PUG groups. The only ones not done with pugs were with some friends of mine and part of that toon being in the group was to help them get the feats as well OR using a 2nd, 3rd or 4th account to get into the content (again...AQS fixes this issue and makes it un-necessary), but done solo minus the entry...sometimes I just like to avoid the LFG shouts.

Would I have bought those 480 odd SP if I could have for 100, 200 or 300+ bucks? No...Would I have used a speed hack to get them done? No...(but honestly I don't run with any speedhackers that I know of). Yes, I did bring the knowledge of how to get feats, but knowledge of feats is easy...go to Youtube, as a friend or ask in chat. It's not that hard even for a noob. As for the 'trash' character created by a CR skip, they are not by default 'trash' but rather 'weak'....they are only trash if the people don't want to learn how to play or work on their toon. Adding purchased 300 or 400 SP to a trash player doesn't make a good character...it just lines DBG's pockets...kind of like the 'purchased' CR skips do already....sold SP just does more of the same thing.

BTW...I'm not saying any of that nonsense to 'brag'...just saying it's not all that tough past the 'getting in' part. Name one 5 DLC old or older feat that is 'hard' to get once you can get in? The hardest feats are getting to be the TC feats, which as HellStroke points out...are indeed 'for sale' already. I know lots of people who have less time in than this 2nd account and have more SP already...it's doable.

Skips really aren't trash like Lorax is saying. They aren't end game elite capable clearly. I used my 255 recently. 100% iconics loadout, did nothing but event level and bounties for a month. All augs maxed, 3 arts at 120. Dps only for now. Got 60sp from my own pre existing. That's it. Probably about half the power of my main yet still tops charts on occasion. That's not shabby for a month of playtime
