Advanced Play Calling in L&W

I've subtracted 20 years from every birthday, therefore, I'm 9.... So, I'm 9... Sooooo, were toddlers??

It means the Healer and Troll just need to step up their game to keep us all alive, doesn't it?


But, seriously...

I don't always see the skull...
I don't know if it doesn't render or if I'm just not paying enough attention, sometimes...
But it does happen.
A call out is always appreciated.

After all, I call out if I see someone go down and I'm too far for the pick-up
Or if I hit my supply drop
or for a variety of things that others may or may not be able to see...

I'd rather hear "block" or "Stop" or "Hold up" than have a wipe.

I agree that a "call out" is never a bad thing. I'm all about situational awareness communication My OP was ensuring that correct call outs were practiced / implemented. I pug from time to time and on the USPS the standard is to call out Block for WW's bracers. Naturally everyone blocks lol / smh. You don't need to stop doing your role and hold down block as that can sometimes be detrimental to the group and possibly cause a wipe.

as a troller/healer when I see the skull I do instance power dumps for powering up people and for healing I do saveage growth and metalbolism to get health up....

Think my statement was misunderstood. I'm talking about players that refuse to know what it is we are calling out. They ask someone to yell out block but they don't know what the warning is. That's what I have a problem with.

Ya thanks. Slight ramble into other things I guess but regardless ALL play calling in game is annoying imo. I have had entire teams yell at me to throw POT when it is already active and this happens a lot in the upper tiers especially.

Yelling block? Players learn about the "Skull" over head of enemies virtually from the beginning of the game and its significance in signaling an imminent superpower aoe, etc...and a need to block.

Most forum posters seems very in-the-know about the mechanics, etc...of the game. A majority of the players I see regularly in game are not as educated League-less or in a league. My observations over the last 3 years suggest that most league's teach nothing to their members at all and seldom even work with them grinding or otherwise.
