Additional Server Downtime - July 23, 2014

Thats contradictory. Its not about the money, its about paying to have something to do.
What are you doing it on?
Usually the game is either played on a PC or PS3 or 4.
Is this the only game you have?
And congrats on being on disability and affording a PS3 or 4 because it takes me months with the amount that I get to even afford one.
I have depression too, PTSD, Bipolar, and plenty of other things that have landed me in the hospital multiple times.
The point is, you can use that little PS3 or PC to do OTHER things then play this one game. It helps with my depression too, but so does a good book, any of the various Batman and Superman shows you can watch over the internet, which can be accessed over either one of those devices.
You may be stuck in a chair, but you can find other things to do.
And that free item you want isn't going to help your depression.
Face it. You're using your problem to try to get pity and free stuff.
This game is offline because it doesn't WORK.
Do you want it to work again?
Then you find something ELSE to do to get your mind off your depression and DO IT.
Whether its talk to other DC fans, watch DC movies, read DC comics.
Do SOMETHING other then obsess over this game which happens to not be working right now.

it's just hard to wait for something new and as awesome as league halls/fire update. WE JUST WANT TO PLAY

And I'm sure nobody has had this idea before, but now I must make a superhero/villain for every character.

Right!! i mean how come they cant update or do maintenance without ever actually doing it? i should be able to get everything i paid for and play every second of time i paid for without ever having to stop or wait for their fixes. . .. jesus why cant they just do all this while we online, and without lag at that btw!!! all these post complaining are great, helps show whats wrong with the world today hahaha

It's amazing with soooo many games out there, people are complaining about 1 of them. I guess it hurts to venture into other games.

If it wasn't for this downtime, I wouldn't have checked my mail and noticed I got a beta invite for the crew. I can't wait to get started.

guys, you all talk too much. Just freakin wait for the servers to come up instead of trolling or flaming about how the servers are down. Your comments aren't going to bring the servers up any faster. Get a life, watch a TV show, have sex with the opposite gender (or with your hand if you have to), go outside and see whats there. I bet when you return, the servers will be up.

And it takes about two weeks to earn enough prestige to get a hall, :-(

I’m truly grateful I pay cash money for a subscription to something I cannot access once again.

This is truly a win / win scenario and it has never crossed my mind that DCUO merely provides cash money such that funds can be transferred into developing Ever(cash)Quest online ventures.


Am I merely being cynical, or realistic?

Looks like the USPC side was up, maybe not long now b4 the rest is up, hope so

i dont get why ppl are asking or in some casses demanding free stuff at the end of the day its only a game im upset too i live in the UK and its 23:10 now but screaming like a 2 year old wont get the servers back online any quicker.....

Thank god for distiny beta... Playing dc when beta ends is gonna be like snorting Elmer's glue to curb a serious drug addiction
