A way that might make Lantern fans happy

Indeed. You're talking about a signature and rather iconic part of this particular fictional universe that enjoys quite a bit of popularity.

Funny enough, though, there were more than a few complaints about Jedi being in Star Wars Galaxies at all, partly because of the original trilogy timeframe that was used as the setting. What was even funnier to me was the one question I'd hear on a regular basis from new players before the NGE (when Jedi became playable without having to unlock it) that completely undercut those complaints:

"How do I become a Jedi in this game?"

I still don't think that DC was the driving force behind them making it Female only. I think they just did that to cut corners and the fact that DC has included Males wielding Violet Light and their recent move with John Stewart makes it hard for me to believe that they would be behind making them Female only. Besides it just violates the lore and I think it was more or less the devs being stupid as DC seems to be lenient on certain issues like making Wonder Woman and Amazon armor for both genders and making Cheetah American both of which violates lore. They seem to be loosening the leash on the devs recently.

No actually the facts are on my side. I have cited lore and it backs me up.

I say its DCUO and not LanternCorpsOnline because well I already explained it in my last post. Yes Lanterns are a big part of DC buts its not the only or biggest part an MMO game should focus on. We already have lots and lots of Lantern content. Some parts of DC and the content already within DCUO have not been introduced or expanded on. The Trigon story deserved more content (which we've finally gotten), something with The Spectre, more Intergang, more Flash based instances, more Superman/Doomsday stuff, Aquaman/Atlantis stuff, and how about doing something with The Joker?

I say enough with the Lanterns for now. Oh and btw 2 seasonal events are Lantern themed as well aside from 2 powers and 4 episodes.

And just to clear the air, I dont hate any of the Lantern's powers/lore/characters. I'm glad it plays a good sized part of DCUO but I'm looking forward to a more diverse and wide range of content within the massive DC library not just fitting in every color of the Lanterns with their own episodes each. Like I said maybe a couple or few years from now we can get another Lantern usable power buts lets gets at least a few different ones like Atomic, Water, Serums, Shadow, Strength as examples in first. All just my opinion.

You could make the same 'argument' that it has become "Batman Unlimited Online", with, what, how many Bat-skins in Legends? and how many Bat-family and -enemies? And we got yet another Bat-crap on the Marketplace

Cmon when I say I soured by I'm obviously talking about the powers not what he has done to people in the past just his powers alone... You have to know that's what I meant ...

If they do make Orange a power though my Brother is making Fish Mooney as an Orange Lantern he has a story and everything.

The title says "A way to make Lantern fans happy" how is his remark any selfish than the op, what about magic fans stuck in healer role, Tech fans stuck in controller role, elements stuck in tank etc. Lanterns have two roles to take advantage of while Tech has only controler role, so what is this thing about making lantern fans happy, you guys dominate PvP, now have plenty content, no ones selfish compare to lantern players.

who is this "you guys" do not include me in that. idk if the op is a lantern player or not but he asking to make others happy so it's not selfish and he's not asking to not make other groups happy unlike the response.

I'm curious.

How do you see people hoping ( ) for a lantern healing powerset as being equal to them saying no to any other new powers, including the ones you've listed? Of which I have never personally seen anyone asking for but I may be wrong.

This puzzles me. Because lore aside for a moment, the op is simply theorizing about how a lantern healer might work or be possible. How is that selfish? I could understand if the op was saying "put everything else on hold and only make what we want!" But that's not the case.

In this or any other thread similar to it, the lantern healer hopefuls ( ) are never asking for lantern only powers to be made or that lantern powers are prioritized over everything else, from what I've seen.

It's just strange to me that when people talk about the possibility or their wishes for a lantern healer, the reaction is almost as if introducing it means that everyone else has less.

Now this just might be my perception of the whole situation, but it just seems odd to me.

the title doesn't say anywhere that he wants the devs to make him and only him happy. it doesn't even say in the title or the first post if the op is a lantern player. they just want to see the fans happy. that's selfless.
