    Yes.

We're trying to stop that from happening.... So stop doing that.

    PS
Also "clowns" and "just to antagonize" is also pretty ironic... Don'tcha think.

The difference between then and now was there was an option to have it both ways previously... just because some people were ignorant and stuck with the only method that didn't work for them, didn't mean that was the only way to go about things.

Then, if you wanted the "full" experience, you could FORM YOUR OWN GROUP AND HAVE JUST THAT. Get on LFG and ask for players of a similar CR and not just blind queue into group content knowing full well what you were getting yourself into. Players still had a choice back then. I was in a league that had a "retro" raid night, specifically to play older content how it was meant to be played. We'd group up, put on T1 gear, and play a T2 raid for the challenge for example. It was exactly how it was at launch... with the exception that everyone knew the game and how to play. It was smooth and pretty fun while it lasted. And holy ****, we still had the option to play how we wanted, when we wanted to play for fun. Crazy.

    Now?

Players have been stripped of the choice. You are forced to queue in "blind" to a random raid, either with or without a group, just for an absolutely worthless reward box full of crap to throw out. Nobody queues into it for "fun". People are begging other players to queue up, just like before.... except now, most players can't be bothered to help out at all. Content is monotonous, takes way longer than it should to complete, and it's practically the same thing with little to no visible progression in EEG.

I'm glad this game went the direction it did, because now everyone that finally got what they wanted has practically no one to play the game with. End Game is going to be in the same sinking ship with the new marketplace additions. Good luck getting into the newest End Game content in about a week, and have fun opening up your wallet to buy gear because no one wants to play.

The clamp no longer matters. Everyone can now buy EG currency, artifacts, allies, nth metal, replay badges, etc... and be at the same lvl as everyone else immediately. They will probably start selling old feats soon too.

    Peace and DCUO Forever:(

Wouldn't know. CR was not visible next to your name until Game Update 43 in 2014. So, if you even got a chance to see what your teammates were before you saw the loading screen, all you would see was their role and a 30.

Wait timer for vote to kick wasn't until I want to say late 2012 to early 2013? I'm leaning closer to early 2013, since they adjusted it in GU28 July 2023. Origin Crisis came out in May and I remember that timer was added before it. It was added during the old T4 era.

So, who's wrong with their memory? Spytle played PC and was subjected to that same problem. Were you PS? Were the people on the PS less toxic? Who knows, but it was happening pretty heavily to the point good players are being hurt by the changes the devs introduced to this day. (Ex, seasonal leechers that do nothing.)

This is why I don't want to "clear things up" with you, I know what was going on, it was REALLY bad. The players will always find ways to be toxic. If they are kicking because you don't have augments or something in content that the stats are provided to you at a set number, I don't know what to say. It's not EEG at fault, it's the players own since of what they feel is the problem.

    I was on Playstation.

And what I'm trying to get at is older content...

When the game was first introduced, we had T2 as max. T1 was easy with T2 armor. When T3 came out, and people started getting T3 armor, T1 was a breeze. No one was in a T1 instance, with a few T3 level players, and voting anyone out based on role or gear due to not needing a full group to play the content.

When T4 came out, no one was kicking in T2 and lower.

When T5 came out, no one was kicking in T3 and lower.

    So on and so forth.

I didn't realize I had to break it down this far... People could damn near solo these instances at this point, and you're trying to say people were kicking based on missing roles? Do you not see how absolutely absurd this is? CR or not, you can still see where people were based on what gear they had. Pretty sure combat rating was a thing before then, it just wasn't integrated into the UI, but I could be wrong. I thought I remembered seeing it in the stats section well before it was on the health/power bar, but yeah... I could be wrong. It's been almost how many years? Either way, if you were beyond a certain point, you didn't need to kick. Half the time, people were asking for warm bodies to queue up and leave if they wanted.
