A Note on the Booster Bundle’s Auras

Good point. I guess it goes on preference. Though my preference would be a black aura, as it's the only other colour I could feasibly use. I'd like to see at least one black variant be a recurring aura in every bundle. Sure have an exclusive aura, but a black aura that appears every time the bundle is released would make me want to spend more.

In summary

Black smoky, exclusive: Fine.

Future black exclusive, but a less flashy black circulates in future bundles, making me invest more in future bundle offers: Fine.

To me anyway.

Yeah that's really unfair I bought 4 bundles got nothing but plasmics it's not fair i have been waiting for a similar aura like smoke ever since auras came sorry that is unfair, damn it i sometimes hate this game for treating things with the word Exclusive to seriously.

Why? This is how capitalism works. People offer something for sale, and you choose whether or not to buy it. There's nothing "unfair" about that unless you think you're owed products for sale.

If you don't want to buy a lottery ticket, don't. But lotteries aren't "unfair" simply because everyone doesn't win. You know what the odds are; it's your choice. DCUO owes you exactly squat that you don't pay for.

I'm so "glad" they will be exclusive considering i spent money on 10 bundles and got nothing but orange plasmic auras and one green very nice very nice indeed oh for **** sake how is that fair ah why do i even bother like someone will even notice my comment it's not fair my character is called The Shadow, i waited for such an aura like smoke ever since auras came out and the prices for it are outrageous the minimum on EUPC is 20 mil. The only good thing that happened to me in the game was when i bought the Original booster bundle the second time they released it i got the Original Plasmic aura that's it i didn't even get Original Nimbus last time and i spent money on 20 bundles had money to waste and didn't get it so unless they come up with Black Nimbus next time i have no chance to get a cool looking black smoke aura.

Easy for you to say you haven't spent $100 or more for a chance to get the Smoke Aura, i did did i get it NO.

I feel your pain i spent over $200 to get Nimbus the original one and got a big **** you to since last time they cost a lot more.

Does it matter $200 or $600 either way that's a butt load of money down the drain if of course he/she didn't anything.

Folks who spent a ton of money got a bunch of other plasmics and nimbus auras; sell them all on the marketplace for game money towards a smokey.

I'm not sure what server you are on... But on USPS, a person would have to sell 20+ booster bundle auras to afford a smoke aura.

The Red plasmic aura, that I was saving to sell at a later date.. because we were told by a Dev that they were Exclusive to the last booster bundle... Ranged from 40-70 mil before this bundle. Last night, Red plasmics were going for 1.2 million....

It's going to take awhile before I get this bad taste out of my mouth.

IMO the auras should be available for purchase and do so for a limited time . Playing the aura lottery is frustrating and denies a player the access to create the PC that he envisions.

and it is bs like this making certain ones limited to only certain booster bundles is why I cant see myself renewing my sub. You ask us to sub then force us to buy bundles like these for a chance at one.

No one forced you to buy anything. Did they come to your house, put a gun to your head to say buy this now or ill shoot? Absolutely not. It even says, thr is a CHANCE you could get the smoke aura. If you drop 100's of dollars on the bundles, its on you, not them. I for one, am enjoying my 2 smoke aura's. And i only had to spend 50 bucks. Something i chose to do. Enjoy your time in Destiny, whr you will more than likely be complaining about something you dont like in that game as well

Yes, Mepps, Spytle,Amneryz,Nerdofprey and Tunso came to my house and pointed (water) guns at my head and demanded that I buy booster bundles. Spytle having the silver tongue said "Don't think of it has gambling, think of it has supporting the game."

I think its ridiculous you gotta pay $10 for the SC and cant even get to pick which aura you want. SOE is getting greedier every day. and they put a time limit so you dont have enough time to wait for enough reward SC to purchase the bundle especially if you have to purchase several times to get a good aura. I read on here someone bought it 11 times and didnt get the smoke aura so it's crazy how money hungry this game is getting and that's why it takes 30 mins to queue up for a t2 alert for a styles run. because theyre losing new customers once they find out this stuff. get a good paying job ppl if you plan on staying loyal to this game! that's all I'm gonna say.

I don't think it has to do with people being forced to do anything more so the way DCUO/SOE go about "offering" things to it's members. If someone is going to spend 100$ on booster packs than that is up to him, what really is the problem is that he shouldn't have to.

that is the point... and the fact that it wont be available EVER again is a way of sneakily forcing those who want the aura to pay. and watching those who have that aura meanwhile you cant get it because you havent spent the right amount of money is insane. I want the smoke aura for example. and the way they put it, if I dont buy enough bundles to luckily get it, im out of luck because it wont be available again and that's just BS. no theyre not forcing anyone to spend money but they are forcing everyone that wants the aura to either pay up or watch everyone else have one the next month and have no chance of getting it because it wont be available anymore.

People crack me up..... It's a BONUS aura, you're not paying for it, you're paying for the marketplace items that are included in the bundle.

I was a little upset when the red and blue plasmics were introduced again, but Mepps has said it was a mistake on their end and I let it go....

Next booster bundle will be a new exclusive aura, likely two new colors of smoke aura, then the remaining colors in nimbus. Not sure if they'll still have plasmics in the next bundle because it might water it down too much, but maybe they would just add a few plasmics in their final colors.
