50% increase is not double correct?

The patch notes say a 50% increase.

So if each drop was 100xp, we will not be getting 200xp but 150xp correct?

Probably should've just asked for clarification in the announcement thread, oh well.

If you get 100xp, an added 50% is 150xp. If you get 300 xp, 50% added onto that equals 450. Just take your current total, divide it in half and add that half to your previous total. Only when something says you get an additional 100% do you double it.

I think they just mean 50% more metal will drop. Just checked to clarify and the values are all still the same. There's just more if it.

Your question stands, but it’s an increase in the metal that drops and not xp. So where you used to get 2 pieces of metal drop off an add, now maybe you get 3 (one extra). There’s no guarantee on what xp amount that metal will be, though; and I do notice the gray 10 piece is now dropping again off adds, so that clutters up the drop table a little.

Hmm, curious. That would make the re-inclusion of the 10xp kind of a sleight-of-hand maneuver.

Before:

Minimum - 40 xp (2 of 20)

Now:

Minimum - 30 xp (3 of 10)

Depending on the drop rate distribution, I highly doubt this will significantly increase XP rates at all, unless the 10 xp is an error. In other words, this would a simple name change rather than an actual improvement.

Yuuup, 50% of 100 = 50 = 1exp now equals 1.5 exp.

10 = 15
20 = 30 etc...etc....

Thanks for the clarification Mepps, I didn't catch the difference between artifact XP and Nth Metal. I thought they were the same thing.

I was just connecting the dots between recent mention of the rewards from the vault being returned to their former values of 500 xp instead of 1000, 10 xps coming back, etc. But I apologize if I jumped the gun.

So is this still correct or not? I'm lost now. Are the XP values per piece increased or not?

I’m confused on the difference between Nth Metal and Artifact XP. Can someone clarify for me please ?

We're in the same boat ATM, lol. I'm totally confused. But I also trust Mepps, so I know it must be correct.
