I treated myself to some unlocked capsules yesterday. 150$ worth, plus some i unlocked with stabilizers. i couldn't even finish the runic hand collection, didn't finish the enhanced set, and got a triplicate of the green iridescent material... the drop rates and rarity from these things are still horrible. what is this, the 12th capsule to be released and theyre still tinkered with every time? its a joke, and if you're someones wallet, a killing joke...

I've spent $90 and Rituals of Alchemy is the only thing I haven't completed. I did manage to get a second A Blackmal Letter for the Wayne Family and complete the cloak for another character. Blue Mystic Aura, Blue Phoenix or Blue Spark Material have also alluded me.
Opening capsules is a game in itself. You have to know which items to hold and which ones to immediate sell while the value is still high then buy back at a later date when those prices drop. My rule of thumb is only open caps on the first few days and basically sell everything lol. Come back a week or two later and buy up everything at a discount. More often than not, and depending on how many stabilizers you use, you will have a great chance at both finishing all the collections/styles, and walk still walk away with a profit. Basically it's all about taking advantage of the whales and overachievers who are always in a rush to get everything done first day. Make them pay lol
RNG box is RNG my friend. I will say the items you dont need to use will net a nice penny on the Broker. Whats better and has changed over the course of the 12 capsules are the distribution and choice to pick the items. Rarity and RNG are always going to be a factor just like drops from a Boss. It does suck you werent able to complete anything but I hope the items you sell are able to help you finish your stuff. That is why everything in the boxes are tradable. Well, almost everything. Think those Runic hands arent if i heard my leaguemates right.

"Ya spends yer money and ya takes yer chances! ----> Cue eerie cackling laughter from the fun house Even if you don't "spend yer money" I have purchased exactly 1 Time capsule since they first became available and that was one I bought the first day the first capsule went live just to get an idea what was inside. As a result of the experiment I run the stabilizer duo every day and only open capsules with the stabilizers I craft from fragments. I have to admit the Krypton Capsule was probably my best as far as rewards.. I was able to acquire almost a full set of armor along with one or two auras I was able to sell. Basically if you are spending real money and buying stabilizers you have taken a trip to Vegas and are playing the slot machines. Its designed that way.. Think about it... if they made it really easy to get everything you wanted or needed then everyone would have everything the capsules had to offer and no one would be buying the stabilizers at all. Not judging .. if you have the cash and want to spend it that is your decision but as you (the OP) said yourself we are on capsule # 12 and every single one has been set up the same way... Did you honestly think because you spent $50 the other day on them some how everything was going to change?
Everytime the same old story. I opened 80 with stabilizers, got everything except A Chip of Philosopher's Stone and the blue collection from the vampire head. Bought the latter already. Got two more blue and one red phoenix mat (plus the ones I consumed) and multiple others. Gonna save them up til prices get higher again. RNG is RNG Wow, what a revelation. Besides, in opening 150 Capsules you should have enough stuff on your hand to sell to get the missing pieces....But cool story again. Can't wait for what happens to players when the next TC arrives. It's always so thrilling and new. It's all about the game
Rng is not rng. It's actual numbers and odds behind the TC boxes. Rng is rng with something like mega capsules with all drops being even, but when some items are rarer than others, rng is out and it's like playing the lottery. OP just took a risk and wasn't lucky
Actually I feel like they changed the drop rates, I was able to complete all 3 collections in really short time. Only got 1 piece of broker and no it wasn't the blue one. Yeah they are still rare and tied to RNG, but not impossible to complete. I feel like the caps are more friendly now. (Though I disagree with feats begin tied to them-but thats off topic so I'll stay on topic), I get your pain, OP, I have yet to complete a lot of TC collections. Void I've been trying to get forever and still one piece away. Phoenix took me over a year to get. Now It's on second chance vendor, so who knows what the future might bring.
Bad luck. 30 saved stabilizers $40 worth of unlocker capsules. Selling duplicates on broker and buying what I didn't get I was able to finish everything and make a in game profit of 80 mil.
So far ive spent zero dollars on the new time capsule. This isnt to say i dont plan on spending any...but theres nothing i really need. If the drowned leg piece didnt have that thigh strap it would have become my favorite piece in the game..as it is its another frustrating miss. Wish things were different.
I get free stabilizers through membership and a 3min daily. I don't complain about what I didn't get, I enjoy what I did get...got as an addition to membership. Some capsules I pass on and save up stabilizers for the next capsule. This last one I opened up 15 and got a bonus aura too. 15 stabilizers takes awhile (members make 2 every 5 days), a little over 35 days, and I'm not on everyday, but by the next time capsule i should have replenished my stabilizer stash.
Agreed, I find a direct correlation between those who hate TCs and those who open up their wallet to open them en masse. I've never had an issue with them but then I've never spent more than my stipend on them. Zero resentment because of zero real world cost.
I wonder myself if it's possible to flag bought stabilizer from the marketplace with a higher chance of dropping a rare item? That might encourage to buy some even for those who usually wouldn't.
This is why i grind for in game money and buy most of the stuff from the broker at least i know it's guaranteed.
