10 years and so many styles...

So many styles were made available for us in the game over these ten years. Which one (You can mention more)
is your favorite? Can be one of each of these styles (Time Capsule, Episode Gear, Accessory, Aura, Material, etc).

I can definitely say that, Grail's "Apokaliptian Amazon" Inspired style is my favorite. But if we go back, Noble Amazon wins it for me. If I had to say a material, Phoenix. As for Aura, Nebula Aura. Favorite accessory is winged feet accessory. For time capsule gear, my all time favorite will always but always be Primeval. It was one of the most unique styles we got in the game, that weren't made from any NPC, or really "Known" character.

DEFINITELY the reactive battle boots. I had been wanting robot legs/arms for a while and they look so awesome.
I also love Constantine's hair!

I'm haywire on battle reactive boots/arms, but at the same time, I refuse to gamble to styles so I did without them.

Oh gosh it's difficult to choose, there's just too much good stuff.
Though, when it comes to full sets, I almost never really like them as a whole. It's just certain parts I take a liking to.
For example, I love Apokoliptian's Amazon hood, think that chest and legs are nice, but the rest of this set isn't my cup of tea. Same goes for every other set in the game: there's always something I dismiss about it.

If I still had to try and pick some, though...

• Favorite episode gear: maybe Heart of the Predator. I'm not sure. Bewitching Battlesuit, Son of Belial and Ninth Tride Tyrant are also nice, among some others.
• Favorite TC style set: Primeval and Dark Raven. And Feathered Cowl <3
  
• Favorite seasonal style: Botanical.
• Favorite OP style: Silent Master and Son of the Bat.
• Favorite accessory: I'd say Purple/White Spirits. And Helicopter Construct is fun.
• Favorite aura: Dark Blue Nimbus hands down. Then Arctic and Umbral. I also like Blue Mystic/Diamond Mist.
• Favorite material: Black Neon chroma, Wicked chroma. Out of non-chromas, Shadow and Temporal.
• Favorite hairstyle: Botanical and Themysciran Edge.
• Favorite emblem: uh... perhaps Enhanced Constantine. I don't know, I don't use emblems.

There could be more, these are simply what came to mind first.

That's a detailed list! There are so many great styles in the game to choose from really!

Scarecrows Dual-Wield cleavers. Too bad some crybaby got them taken out the game and never made a return. OG plasmic and CC hood been my favorite.

There's a lot of great style pieces that have come into the game over the years. But if I have to pick a favorite, I think I have to take into account how often a particular style has been used in my various looks over the years and that brings it down to most of one style:

Stalwart Defender.

It's a great slimline style for characters of both genders with a lot of variations possible, the male version gets a larger emblem slot and the boots work with just about any other slimline style in the game. Even when applying Chromas to the outfit you can still get a great look for your efforts. The only part I'd leave out is the belt as that's fairly specific to Superman, so the chest, legs and feet of the Stalwart Defender are probably my favorite.

A close second would be the Daring Vigilante chest and legs because they also work well for many looks and with all sorts of Materials, including Chromas. But Stalwart Defender is still probably tops for me.

I like Dragonnes' very detailed list of favorites (because just mentioning one thing is an injustice), so here goes:

Favorite Full Style: High Density Tactical Archer (Inspired by Green Arrow) - This was the first style in the game that I personally loved from top to bottom hands down, and constantly find myself using every piece on various alts. Every piece is usable to me...and that is a true rarity.

Favorite Style Piece [Non-Capsule or Booster]: Expert Marksman Back Piece (Assault Weapon style) - For the longest time I wanted to use some kind of gun style for back piece, and when Vengeful Surgeon came out for PvP I was so stoked...until I realized it was villain only. Then came the Red Hood style which was almost as good. Then came Style Unlock. But the ultimate style was the Expert Marksman which was part of the IL101 PvP Gear style inspired by Deadshot. Up until the gun backs came into the picture, the closest thing we had to a rifle was the Sharpshooter back piece. Would be nice to see some more back pieces like this. Runner Up: Themysciran Battlesuit Back/War Metal Back - Two of the most beautiful sword back pieces in the game. Sure would be nice to have them as actual weapon styles as well (one-handed as well as dual-wield).

Favorite Cape Style: Nabu's Chosen - The art team has gotten better over the last few years when it comes to styles in general, but specifically with capes. The highlight being Nabu's chosen. It fits over shoulders so well, has fantastic physics, and goes so well with all kinds of look. All we need in the "future" is a variant of that cape....minus the collar, for the sake of variety (prevention of clipping certain hair styles). Runner Up: Dystopian Amazon. The only thing that holds this one back from putting it into a tie position is those blades in the back. It doesn't fit with everything. Maybe in the future we could get something similar without those blades.

Favorite Material: It just doesn't feel right mentioning just one so I won'...I'll mention my top five instead.

Favorite Boots: It's a tie between High-Density Tactical Archer and Logistics Officer Variant. They are both very well done in all dimensions (especially feet shape). They are highly detailed, right down to the tread grooves at the bottom. And they have a style that easily lends themselves to realistic Superhero all the way to Mercenary/Para-Military. They both look great with and without materials. Runner Up: Drowned Pirate/Thrall of Ekron/Dark Raven/Lord of Chaos - Above-the-knee boots have been a rarity in this game for a long time, especially for male toons, so it is an absolute joy to have all 4 of them right now.

Favorite Aura: Doomsday Aura - This is my number one go to aura across multiple toons with different powersets. While i've loved many others, this is my most used of all. Runner Up: Scorching - Those flames are so majestic.

Favorite Waist Style: Tie between Shim'tar Regalia & Amazonian Conqueror - Why? Bladed weapon at the side. The Lethal Zealot tried, but it clipped and were barely visible. Plus it was hard to color them distinctively (which really made the blades disappear).

Favorite Shoulder Style: Three-Way tie between A.R.G.U.S. Operative, High-Density Tactical Archer and Disciple of Parallax - What those three distinctive styles share in common is the way they actually fit shoulders. Whether on armoured styles, sleeveless chest pieces and slimlines. Even when they clip, they do so favorably. It would be great if future Arcane/Sorcery/Amazonian style shoulders could use a similar fit matrix so that they could fit better with more styles.

I'm going to end my list here, otherwise i'd be typing well into the new year.

Ten years man....and the fantastic styles just keep coming (and keep me firmly planted to this game). Here's to at least another 10 more.

Overall I have very clear ideas on how i like my toons to look. Wilder Midnight has had "cosmic skin" since the early eighties. Smashgirls costume is supposed to invoke the idea of a police badge. Glamorilla is very into fashion. She mixes it up but whatever I come up with has to look like a cocktail dress or evening gown. I even go as far as trying to emulate certan designer looks. She has a Chanel cocktail dress, a vintage Halston, A Balenciaga gown and a Tom Ford look. Rakastan is a werecat. He hates wearing clothes and only dons briefs with the metalhead belt. I've changed my toons looks some over the years here and there but it tends to be subtle changes. For the first time in about nine years I changed Wilders belt when I got lucky enough to score the smoke chroma. I am very pleased with the outcome.

It would be easier to list the styles I don't like versus the styles I do even if i don't use them. I like maintaining details that my toons share to signify there part of the same team the way you know if someone is an X-Man, a Doom patroller or a legionnaire.

Goes without saying I think the styles we've been getting the ast five or six years are far, far superior to what we had at launch and for our first dlcs.

I thought of listing every favorite style piece as well, like, favorite chest/legs/etc, but I thought it'd be too much.

But looking at this, I might still do it later 'cause why not.

From regular game/pvp:Hive defender helmet,Aegis of azarath feet,chest and legs,elemental android set,exobyte origin,insectoid feet set except head and the entire owlman set.

From promethium lockboxes:Leathal zealot head and demonic tail

From markedplace:splendid wings,Batman cowl/helm,flash helmet

Favorite styles from From time capsules:Batman beyond helmet and also the rest ot that style.I wanted that style for ages,Future flash helmet,dark raven shoulders and back,magic's champion shazam style, shim'tar regalia, Nabu's chosen back and the speed-metal set(particulalry the helmet)

Favorite materials:Glorious chroma,cosmic material and void material.

Favorite emblems:batman 1980,all bvs emblems and owlman emblem.

Favorite op items: Owlmans prototype helmet.

I could go on and on but I think I'll stop there

Style: Enhanced Bionic. It was the sole reason I even began trying to run elite raids and I still use it in three of my five armories (changing out a piece or two in each to make them unique from each other).

Materials: Mechanized Chroma, Metallic Neon Chroma, Blue Spark, Holographic, Time Torn

Auras: Electron, Tesla, Blue Mystic, Energy Vortex, Azure Misted

Accessory: Futuristic Drone, Batwing

There’s bunch of styles that I highly admired and appreciated but just aren’t overall thematically my cup of tea (wings, capes, mystical/magical stuff, etc) but that’s a fairly long list and I wouldn’t remember the actual names of most of them off the top of my head anyway.

You know, at first I didn't like Time Torn but I really grew to like this one. It's very unique compare to other materials.

Runes of the Ancients/Demons/etc -- Floating glowing things are awesome
Similarly -- Energy Armor /Energy Armor Elite

I use pieces from those across a lot of my tunes.

Contemporary Tech is my favorite "Starter" set.

Quardian Guard and Midnight are my favorite TC gear sets.

I forgot to mention the Brainiac Prime and mist enhanced weapon styles. Though I do wish the Brainiac Prime dual wield was swords and not axes, both those styles are pretty damn cool and unique.

The Owlman OP head gear. It is the best in the game. The Villain of the Decade swears by it.

The scarecrow cleavers weapon style was one of my favorites too

Hmmm I won't go into too much detail because i just a lil lazy to Explain

Base game: hmm i'd have to a unpopular Opinion but Barbarian despite being basic it simple enough.

Time Capsule style: I got say enhanced magic Champion followed by that Feathered Cowl and primeval set.

Episode and full style: I love the Gorgon Slayer set I can use for gladiator style and use all aspects on Different toons plus I got it the hard Way before wonderverse came out.

Bonus rewards: I love the Zatanna Hair from JLD.

Seasonal: Ice spikes Waist and arms set look fab on my Ice character.


Aura: I have a few but for this I just gonna name 2 Wild and Aurora.

Accessory: Not really experimented much with this one yet one thing I can say I liked recently was jolly beard.

Material: there so many nice ones i just can't choose i would do a list but I be here for awhile for easy i'd say OG wild looks great on my Nature toon Chroma was nice it was just short hitting the mark, for others I love are biolumiscent, artic Chroma, and surging Chroma.

Emblem: I like the Enhanced Vixen Emblem.

Favourite OP style: Definately Dark God Belt.
