Downtime Server Downtime - May 11, 2023 - Name Reclaim

    Name Reclaim 2023

    All worlds will be taken offline at 6AM PT on May 11, 2023, to perform server maintenance and the 2023 Name Reclaim. Downtime may last up to 6 hours.

    The name reclaim will rename characters on accounts that have not logged into the game for over a year, freeing those names for active players to use. Renamed characters will be granted a name change token should they return to the game.

    why are hours long updates always scheduled on raid reset day? it would seem to me that this would run counter to wanting as many people playing as possible. would it not be better to schedule longer downtimes between Mondays & Wednesdays?

    I'd suggest just logging in 1 time today. That should save your name....unless you really don't care about the name or it's generic.
