There was never an official announcement from Dimensional Ink for a graphics upgrade or major "expansion". Unless you want to claim an 'emote system' as a major expansion.
When i see a content roadmap, i dont trust it, since everything on a roadmap is subject to change. And just like investor calls. Fluff and Buzz worlds are par for the course.
Didn't mention anger, just disappointment. One can understand the situation (change in management and staffing shortage) and still feel disappointed.
Looking at official daybreak website for dcuo currently only 4 spots are hiring it used to be like around 8 spots when charon was here he confirmed it a year or so ago now a programmer, leader designer, art director, designer are needed and that doesnt even sound that dramatic and doesnt justify the continuation of the severely used excuse „lack of devs“. They are almost fully staffed currently (a dev can come and tell me otherwise if not)
In only 5 years??.... Dude... 3 artifacts half way done?? You'll be almost be finished with them by 2030.. Time flies!! Also (hint hint) here's where your success rate becomes nil... and you'll either start plowing through those preservation seals... or start using seals of completion. Also.. Are you a member? Cause... I still have my doubts that you "haven't paid a cent"...
Awwwwww...... But... We didn't even get to the "You said 'halfway'" tangent....... that was gonna take up the next 3 pages.
This is not what I wanted to know I wanted to know what exactly you are willing to pay for... the amount that it costs to upgrade allies and artifacts The essence of my question is, for what thing is the person answering the question ready to pay regularly ... here are a few things listed ... is this what you would specifically pay for regularly? if not, it's just another way of saying "I want someone else to pay".
I've spent money on just about everything... I like Booster Bundles more than Time Capsules: While the "bonus" is RNG, the purchase is a tad more upfront. I like gambling at casinos... I don't see it as a way to get rich... I see it as paying for entertainment... If I break even a consider that a win. Gambling on a video game? Not as much fun... I'll buy some time capsules to get the ball rolling.... but, I'll usually get most of the good goodies from the broker. I do spend some MC - either outright or from the 500 membership - on artifacts. As far as membeship goes.... This is probably my last year paying for that...
the gold fate token for nth metal has greatly improved the grind imo, I finally got my strat card to 180
It wasn't Dimensional Ink who announced it but it was in EG7's financial reports to their investors which come to think of it now makes sense why a lot of us are going to be disappointed I'd imagine. But yeah we can't take anything we read about DCUO on the internet as gospel truth anymore it's best to just trust what happens when it happens at this point.
I cracked and actually spent a destiny token on just for that extra bit of experience to hit level 6. Its handy since i can tie it to a noncombat armory, giving it abit of head-cannon lore lol
Yeah don't put stock into anything some intern at another company put together for a PowerPoint presentation. If it wasn't announced here by mepps or panderus than it wasn't announced.
Well, since the new episode is not on the test server yet I will hold judgement until I can try it out for myself. The updates for the next gen consoles will be later on this year/next year. "Sigh" we went through this before with the PS3 to PS4 migration; DCUO implemented small updates for the PS4 until Sony announced when it was going to deprecate the PS3. Shortly after that, the game migrated over to the PS4. In my opinion, the devs will take their time updating the next gen consoles until the current gen ones' deprecation date becomes closer; after that, we will see a faster push to update and migrate the game to the next gen consoles. I can only assume that the emotes are a much easier fix than any of the top ten glitches in the bug forum that are still being worked on. Developmental update announcements never satisfy everyone; it is meant solely as an informational calendar/board and with that information, players can choose how to process it and act accordingly. This is why I usually take the "wait and see" approach, even if I'm not certain about which direction the game is heading.
Is this really necessary? I took you and your 'friends' (mainly 3 of you. but a couple of "new players". my guess is with you creating a few accounts) OFF ignore, because I wanted a clean slate and try to give some the benefit of the doubt Opinions vary.. that is life... BUT this? c'mon man.. Put him on ignore if his opinion angers you so much - you aren't going to change his mind (or anyone's) by insulting them or being this derogatory, in general.
