Is it true that the Devs are working on a new lair theme?

I've watched Multiverse's Base Items video and one of the comments caught my eyes, asking about a new base theme and he replied "Yes" as that they are working on it. Is it true? The bases community been waiting for a new base theme for a long time so any news regards a new lair theme will be great.

Yeah I remember this, this is why I'm asking, cause the YouTube comment was like a confirmation by Multiverse that they are working on it(and I have no reason not to believe Multiverse)

I would love a Themyscira or Kahndaq themed lair. Or FOS theme.

A Shadowlands themed lair would be cool also.

Do you remember in the dev update that came before the one I quoted? They had announced they had a new lair theme was in the works, in other words already started. That's what multiverse was referring to.

Gotcha, yeah. Alright, this was just abit confusing. As I know that they are not planning to release it anytime soon I was questioning if It's still happening or not at all.

I'm waiting for them to fix the HoL base theme... The mail, broker, respec terminals and all of the same type all have the same model... it's all the mail terminal model. I'm hoping they will finally fix this so that the respec/broker models have their own and not just copies of the mail terminal.

Would be nice if we could customize our own layout thou like City of Heroes... Making the bases more of a sandbox style. It's not like we do anything in the league halls or bases other than armories and buffs. Honestly, other than spending prestige and keeping our bases reactor and mainframe buffs up (which isn't all that often) we have no reason to go there anymore. Like the watchtower and HoD are now useless unless you want to change PvE/PvP phases.

Heh. I was running Fellowship of the Arcane and people were saying they'd love THAT as a base. The house of mysteries, complete with extra rooms all over and the big library. Maybe not the wandering death-eyes.

Well, the wandering death-eyes can be replaced with a few Teekl pets.. they would work just as well but be less deadly.

There is a slot machine. It was in $35 gift bag purchased during a convention. We are trying to get them to release it, and the Elvis costume too. We have been trying since the "back from the hack" cowl was released. Let's see what happens. XD
