Confusing named styles thread

Creating this thread as a 1 stop shop for any of the nonsense names and what they really are inside the box. I'm going to try and keep it clean of excess and add the next post for what I've found. I'd guess many of you know many more than I do, so add to the list. Id say new posts only vs replies to keep it clean. Or do whatever you want...it's a free country (for now).

Format like this:
Forgotten Mystic = Mayan

BTW...I'm not the first to do this, but the other thread I found crapped out in 2018. Some of the ones I'm listing are on that list as well, but check it out for some others. Many of those were tied to specific drops. I'm more wanting to list items that might drop in any random content, or at least in several locations. Things like Lifeless or 'Herald of the black' still seem to only drop in the same 3 locations as before (Demon's plan, Blackest Day, Blackest Night). There are already posts on where to find those specific styles.

Excellent idea. This bothered me so much a couple years ago. When the capsule boxes are named totally differently from the style sets themselves they're impossible to find on the broker unless you know what to look for.

I have a cheat sheet by the monitor that I wrote with a pen, which is style per content, but I got Amphibias from WV yesterday, sooo, my list is useless. Although, the pieces i have left to get part of the list still is good.

Yeah, I wasn't as worried about OG locations as they seem to be all over now. Theme styles at least. Iconics seem to be pretty well where they always were, with a few exceptions. I know in PZR, I've had a Quickstrike choice somewhere in the 3 choosers every time. I mainly just want to know what mystery name is what...I'll let where it pops suss itself out.

I am only seeing a very small subset of the styles now. It seemed like the first week or two, the loot table was larger. Are you seeing these styles still dropping?

Yeah, but it does seem like Commemorative, Primal, Protective, 'Big', and a handful of others are in every loot table, where a some of the others only are popping for specific content. Although that might be because I'm only running specific content too. I run STU related stuff, the 'current' stuff and am very selective on what pops through Omnibus now. It might be limiting the styles I'm seeing. Maybe I'll have to let one slide when one pops via omni that I've deemed 'I'll never run that again...' runs, and see what's there. But probably not....

They wont, they should but they wont
The name in the feat should match the name on the style itself AND the name on the box.
Also, the dang box needs to say “already collected” so we know.
As it stands:
1) gear drops
2) we read the names
3) scour internet translating them into what gear style it actually is
4) scour feat list looking for them to see if we need them
5) run out of time because theres more than 1 gear box to pick from
6) we pick out of haste or game picks for us due to timer expiring
7) we curse DC or throw the controller through the TV out f frustration for such a garbage system

#7 hopefully is not happening of course but come on devs……. Surely you can do better…. Surely
