The Rise and Fall of our Stats

    Before anything crazy happened like weapon mastery, advanced mechanics, stats revamp, stats clamp, etc, the game used regular weapon combos combined with superpowers. Short story below:

    In the start, there was just weapons and superpowers (trinkets too). This will be the left point on the triangle (or roller coaster ride at beginning). We start at the bottom left tip as a baseline for stats.

    Next, weapon mastery came out and we go up a bit as our stats are going up. The combos do more damage and allow for superpowers to do some additional damage if timed correctly. Stats rise like it is a vertical line.

    After that, we have the high point. The Fun Mechanics! aka Advanced Mechanics. Cheesy loadouts and can do ridiculous damage (if not nature, lmao) to the enemy and crit well over a million if mental/gadgets.

    Little later, we fall down that tip and sliding down the triangle into the stats revamp. Our damage out is nerfed and stats brought down and inline to be more linear-ish.

    And now, Stats Clamp. We have reached the bottom once more to where we do damage like before the ride began. It is a little different as we are clamped now and not the extra stuff removed.


    In a nut shell, who decides to do this to a video game?? This game is out of whack and you wonder why the players dont know stuff is due to a fact that the game keeps changing every couple years. If you take a break, you are guaranteed that you will come back to something new and ridiculous. This is what I mean that the DCUO Team can't..won't look at the future and will only decide to change the present only with new future issues. Over the past 4 years we have been double nerfed and everything is now seasonal stats, boo!; why bother leveling up if we are just clamp adjusted to the content.
