Why is EU Server going down right now?

Picture not taken by me as I am not online right now but my friend is. Anyone know what's going on? This is not even US restart downtime so pretty weird.

The US server is also going down around that time today
(and to confirm, it didn't go down at it's normal time)

So let me get this straight..... No special notification or anything but for whatever the reason the Devs decide not to shut down at the normal reset time and do it at 11 AM (Eastern time). SO... I got up and had breakfast and killed time until around 9:45 AM waiting for the game to come BACK ONLINE (which is normal any other day of the week) and then thanks to this "special" maintenance day I got around 1 hour on line before they shut down?

So can I expect to have the game shut down tomorrow at oh say 3PM? and then Friday at 8 O'clock at night? Let's not TELL anybody anything any more nd just do whatever we please .. when ever we feel like it. I hear the delayed shut down today was because Carl, the tech in charge of daily maintenance, called in and was running late because StarBucks was out of coffee.

i can tell you why... GLOBAL updates always will take all servers down... and this will use the most played server "Night time" it is an Marketing strategy to not losst a lot money in the time that the servers are down... if they do it when the EEUU Server is on the "peak hour" the game can losst a lot money.
