I haven’t logged in since BOP but if I ever decide the game is worth playing again I wouldn’t mind streamlining my toons since the game is no longer alt-friendly. Here’s what I got. Lol, people do actually buy these names? Lmao I will never understand people that sell nicknames in game. I understand sell style stuff, reset etc, but names? that's some bad joke.
People like having cool names. I do agree that the price people sell them at is absurd but I myself don’t see a problem with selling them. Gotta get it by any means necessary.
They are names that are spelled out exactly as they are, think “Superman.” That’s an OG name. But some people say “xxSupermanxx” or Sup3rman” or some other alternative. My character name is “Shalayah” which is by definition an OG name. I’ve seen players with more common names spelled correctly, but most of the OG names people tend to really refer to are just some random singular words spelled correctly. Think “Precise” “Preserve” “Lesson” just random words but spelled correctly. It’s cool to have those types of names I assume.
A style is worse than a name lol there’s multiple of that style but 1 of that name. I don’t understand why I gotta explain that after you said “ fill in your response”

In dcuo , when people say OG names, I think of if the character has : 'year one ' back cape : batdrone 'collectors edition' trinket.
I know I’m too old for the term OG to appeal to me, but my understanding of the etymology is that it stood for Original Gangster, and over time has morphed to mean authentic, cool and rare. Where I get confused is when people think it’s authentic, cool and rare to play a superhero/villain game as a random household object or verb that doesn’t relate to anything to do with the game and isn’t a plausible name for a superhero or villain. I don’t get it.
