Just curious I noticed in chat now some names have a V or H next to them. For example [name][v] or [name]h]. I will assume it's either or or villain am I correct? Is that for a specific platform? Not all names have it, just specific ones.
It could be someone who has both a hero and a villain with the same name. This reminds them which one they are on.
A recent update made it possible for heroes and villains to communicate in certain standard chat channels (at least shout, say, and tell). You will see the V or H after a name in those channels since you would otherwise not be able to tell if the character is a hero or villain. That's something you need to know for certain actions in the game, but is otherwise unimportant. LFG and league chat don't have this, since everyone in them would be the same faction (all heroes or all villains). This may be a first step towards pre-forming mixed groups for instances/open world, but we aren't there yet.
Strangely this thread could belong in gameplay forum since it's a legit gameplay feature. Hopefully no death threats between two opposite factions
Certain channels I did notice. What is weird, when I put a group together, I would get pm from villains even though I use lfg channel.
