Nubia shouldn't be in that Council of Wonder Women. Here's who I would cast instead.

If it isn't "woke", it's a hell of a coincincidence but not necessarily a bad thing either.

Wonder Woman is Wonder Woman, regardless of any other identity she might have.

Same as we've had a variety of people be Batman and not Bruce Wayne: Thomas Wayne Jean-Paul Valley, Alfred, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Terry McGinnis, Commissioner Gordon, Superman, Batman of Zur-En-Arrh, etc.

Saying that "one isn't like the others" makes no sense; all people from parallel worlds have differences, by definition.

And singling out Nubia as the one character to reject while giving a reason that is both invalid and also applies to others you don't include, is not a good look.

Clear as mud. She shouldn't be on the Council, but she should lead it? How does that work? You directly contradict yourself.

Right, because everyone knows that the default for human beings is "white." Any violation of the default is clearly verboten and extraordinary.

This entire sentiment may have read better in the original German.

    This.

Ditto for female characters, or, in fact, any kind of character whatsoever.

Strange statement, and I feel unclear as to which way you are tossing your presumptions.

Our production timelines - especially for new art - are really long, and predate current events. That said, our production timelines are not so long as to predate the legacy of injustice in this country. Hopefully, one day, adding a non-white character to a video game will no longer be a moment worthy of comment.
