You don't need some intricate multi layered fight to be difficult in DCUO, once again you are displaying you are playing the wrong game and don't want to be on DCUO. Paradox Wave had the most simple mechanics there was, really simple to understand yet it was the hardest raid this game has ever seen because of the discipline it took because the first moment you ignored or slipped up on the mechanics you died. Simple concept to not like the Ravager stay in his healing pools to the point he would enrage but so many groups let him and wiped to his laser, not hard to get out of range and not be hit by the warriors initial ball to proc the enrage aoe balls. Even in Inner Sanctum not hard to understand not to let the custodian not absorb the wing armor but groups let it happen regardless. Survival Mode is about simple mechanics that punish you to the point where its a 100% a death and then its on the group to co-ordinate. The player population in terms of skill is absolute GARBAGE compared to players in the past yet out of all those SM's it was only beaten by 24 players and only 8 players after they introduced CR scaling, if it was so easy then everyone would have been doing it just like they are with this SM.

You can continue to fabricate these stories about instances acting differently 1 day and fine the next and ninja buffed and then nerfed the next, that is only you detailing those fabrications.

This isn't Wildstar, or WoW, or GW2 this is DCUO, comparing them is fruitless, there's only 1 loadout and technically 6 powers to utilize where some have 20+ powers and multiple loadouts to trigger its comparing apples to tomatoes.

2 tanking 4-man content isn't cheese you are just being absolutely ridiculous, so you would have a group just wipe and restart the round if the tank dies because there is no other role that has the ability to survive a taunt, even no other abilities besides decoy having a taunt let alone a healer or controller using a taunt consumable if the tank dies lol. Cheese only applies to things that give you unnatural abilities compared normal. Manbat is cheese because it extends the roll distance, water can be considered cheese because its the only healer best suited for 4man content and has a supercharge unaffected by the healer SC changes, precision is cheese because it has enormous advantages over might for high single target, mobile boss fights. Changing powers to but your group and yourself in the best position to complete content isn't cheese, water is just unique, not all powers are created equal. Just because you are Fire or Atomic doesn't mean you should just get a free pass to complete R30. Rage and Atomic in the past WERE GARBAGE for SM, if all tanks had the same abiltiies and were just as good as eachother what is the point of having 5 powersets? might as well just be 1 and copy and past all the stats and mechanics. Gadgets has the most utility out of all the controller powersets thus why its always been good at SM and quantum is mainly there for better % at pick ups due to teleport. Mental DPS in AM era was good dps because you had a supercharge that gave more targets for boss and boss attacks to target to mitigate risk to the group.

Lots of heated opinions here covering up the feedback. It's not really important to define something as cheese/not cheese/cheese flavored product. Instead, let's try to steer the discussion of SM and these strategies into how you might like the game to play differently (in a different thread).
