To put it in simple words no i'm not here for the reasons you mentioned, i'm here because i care about this game and i don't want it to continue with these business practices that completely lack any sort of common sense. 800$, 500$ heck even 200$ on stabilizers and not getting a specific item that even contributes to a feat is undoubtedly a scheme, a rip off, a lack of common sense, etc. The first time capsules had decent drop rates for almost everything even for the rarest of the collections, but now these ones have their drop rates tweaked so badly that apparently not even 800$ is enough...Money worth of 8 years of membership just to get one 50* feat and not even getting it. If this trend continues then yes i hope karma will strike back but not at the game at the ones in charge of these decisions.

Crusades, Rebellions, Feedback are built on hope...hope that we can strike some common sense into those who are in charge with these business practices and trust me personally i've learned my lesson and i will never ever spend anymore money on time capsules. I did it because one of the main reasons i still play the game is completing feats and because i am sort of a completionist but if from now on i will have to dump hundreds of dollars every time they release time capsules just to get those feats then i'll gladly vote with my wallet and not support this feats behind pay wall idea anymore. Also because we had a survey lately involving Time Capsules something tells me that our little crusade did stir up something.

Hey, I totally get it. I swear I do. But here's the thing, they've done two rounds of TCs. They heard the feedback for both rounds. They now did a survey. If the third round comes around and they still haven't changed anything, then they would have made it obvious they heard the feedback and just don't care enough to change anything.

For me, they don't bother me. But if they bother you this much, I'd say after next round, if they haven't changed anything you are wasting your time with all these threads. But that's just me.

The stats revamp is kinda of a make it or break it thing, it's very possible these recent business practices are a fail safe in case everything suddenly falls apart and they fail to revive the game with that update. Call me paranoid but these recent time capsules alongside the anti monitor event and a couple of other things really got me to the point where i asked myself wtf is really happening here, why are they suddenly indirectly putting feats behind pay walls. First time it has happened was when they released promethium lockboxes but that was nothing compared to this and i fear what will com up next. So you can see why i am a bit on the edge it's because i care about the game and i don't want this trend to stop me from playing it which will eventually will because i won't afford to get the feats i so desire if they indirectly put them behind these pay walls.

You can't get all the feats from time capsules if you don't spend hundreds of $ on stabilizers.
You can't get all the feats from the anti-monitor event if you don't spend hundreds of $ on replay badges.

Saying both of these events will come back doesn't mean a thing because when they do they will have addition items in them that will probably be as hard to get as the previous ones and so without the few people to spend some serious real cash on stabilizers, replay badges, the rest of us who buy those things with in game cash won't have from whom to buy them at all. Eventually even those whales who spend tons of money on the game will stop because they will realize it's not worth playing if most of your friends have left the game. Why can't they just put items in these time capsules without feats attached to them like the booster bundles? Why do they have to indirectly put them behind such a frustrating RNG pay wall? Take away our free stabilizers and have them drop every second, put anything you want in them i really don't care as long as feats are not involved.

Of course if they come out a third time and nothing will have changed then i would have definitely wasted my time but it was worth a shot. You can't change anything if you stay silent and don't speak up your mind. For the first round things where way better and i haven't seen the forums being flooded by so many threads against them. They don't bother me either, only the fact that the items inside of them contribute to feats. Will i spend money on stabilizers if the stuff that comes inside of them them won't have any feats attached to them, probably not unless there's a really cool style that i like but that doesn't mean others will do the same as me. What i'm trying to say is that they can still make good money out of time capsules without involving feats, more likely they will make less money then they are right now but at least they will still make some and not draw players away from the game.

How many people do you think will buy these Amazon Time Capsules then if they decide to show us the flaming phoenix feather collection's drop rate. Must be something like 0.1% if people have opened hundreds and didn't get it. Your idea is great but they will shot themselves in the foot if they do so.

People will gamble even if they know the odds are set against them.
I live in an area with quite a few Casinos within a 300 mile radius.

There is 1 that is tied in with Jimmy Buffet and Margaritaville and the other is a Hard Rock Hotel.(not many Hard Rocks so easy to figure out where I live).

These 2 have made some huge building complexes and have high debt, the debt is paid off by the customers.

The Casinos in this area are known for violating the Gaming Commission rules for setting the payouts below a set standard.

1 is very well known for openly admitting they would rather pay the fines daily than set the payouts where customers actually win.
It's cheaper to pay the fine.

So 1 Casino now has a commercial and a fast growing customer base based on 1 small thing.

    That 1 small thing,

    They are debt free,

and that Casino has the loosest slots within a 300 mile radius, they advertise they have the loosest slots and the customers are passing that information along by word of mouth.

The 2 I named still have a full parking lot with customers going in.

Yeah, and all this proves my point. I've been trying to tell these advocates that are lobbying to rid us of TCs that there's no reason to try to "save" ppl here. That dude that spent $800 did it because he CHOSE to. It doesn't take $800 to realize the drop rates r horrible, he just kept going. That doesn't make him a victim, it's a sad case but he's not a victim. If all of these guys hate the TCs so much, just quit.

The belly aching isn't going to do a thing. And it's not helping the players that spend money on the TCs.

    A
Not participating wasn't enough? You quit just because of TCs?

I don't blame him one bit. I left before they came out but those things have pretty much sealed the deal for me.

I'm giving him as an example not to prove how much of a victim he is for participating in an "intended broken rng system" but to prove how low they set the drop rate for that collection.

I have played a number of games that had RNG with items like the TC and having the percentages posted next to each item on the list within the RNG table made exactly zero difference. People will spend no matter what. They can see odds and still take the chances. Posting the percentages just helps the customer accept that it is their responsibility not the games.

here's an idea. if they want to milk us for cash with these collections like flaming phoenix feather, centaur hoof, and molted gorgon skin why not just do so openly? put them in market for about 300 dc cash per bundle?
