What other changes did they make with the latest GU? Logged in today and 5 out of 6 characters had their power bar down to half (only Issan wasn't affected)

What do you mean "down to half"?

When logged in, the power bar was only half full

Yeah, but why Ice, Mental, Gadgets, HL & Sorcery? Filled up quick enough, just seemed odd is all

hummms logged in after new update and my screen settings is off...
Tried changing the UI settings - Screen Scale and Hud Alpha..got it a little better, but not to what it used to be. Changed tv sittings. Changed UI settings with different tv settings.

Add on that the hotbars now looks transparent. Went and deleted all the settings so I could log back in with it back to default....annoying.

Guess this will just have to be the new normal.

pff After over and hour of trying to fix it, I finally notice the in game message that they are aware that people are having trouble with UI settings and are working on getting it fixed.
