Gadgets DPS -- not worth it?

As usual, give yourself more than a few minutes to make DCUO life changing decisions. In another thread an "entire" league quit because a gadgets out dpsed somebody after the update.

There is this thing the Devs have been trying out, its called Balance......... They want to make it so you have several options on how to DPS. You can use WM, You can use AM, You can now use any power or loadout you like because of Max Damage. This is all in an effort to make it so everyone is not doing the same thing. This way we have "BALANCED" options on how to play or use your power.
