Hey all. I stopped playing DCUO a year ago, I did not leave because I hated the game, or hated another player/s etc. I loved the game, I just kind of had enough of the game at that point and felt like seeing what this "Sun" looked like that everyone in my family was telling me about and this thing called socialising I've had enough of the sun and Socialising, Now I'm kind of thinking to start playing again. Before I stopped, I played since Launch, I've got an Ice Tank that is 1 piece short of full T5 and has 107SP (I think) so I'm not a complete n00b, <- not sure why I even feel the need to mention that. The question/s I have is: 1.) I can see on the Website that the EUPS3 side always seems full, although I have heard that it's pretty dead and to do older content (for some of the feats needed) is impossible. So the real question is, is it as dead as I've heard, or is it still pumping like it use to? 2.) Is having Full T5 Gear "the new n00bs" and will make you struggle to get into any group doing T6 stuff? 3.) Is it worth coming back, or did I leave at the right time? 1) It's not THAT dead. I run Ace Chemicals, Oan Sciencells, STAR Labs Research facility and South Gotham Courthouse on a daily basis. The queues are no longer than they have been since the game launched. I'm on the villains side too, which, like every server, has a less active population. 2) There's at least 5 sets of T5 gear now. There's the Level 85 Manta/Aquaman gear, there's then Raven/Brotherblood inspired gear at level 86. Traces in Time at level 88 and Vestments of Rage/Green Lantern/Sinestro Corps inspired level 90 gear. You will probably struggle for the first few days of settling back in but it shouldn't be an issue. You need to be CR100 to do T6 content (CR99 to do the Iconic Anomalies). 3) In my opinion, it's worth coming back. The game is getting better and it's a lot better than it was 12 months ago. Today we're getting a brand new play mode designed to challenge the best teams and next month we're getting League Halls which look fantastic. Soon after, we're getting DLC11, too, which will see the launch of the first T6 raids and after that, every DLC will feature at least 1 raid.
I'm on both factions the villan random que times are much longer than hero's. Less people are playing but it's not even close to be considered dead.
