Yes. Usually this happens with the episode launch, but the timing of updates made it simpler to have that all happen now.
Curious, did you update the daily login item levels as well? With the last 2 DLCs launching in the month, you started the rewards at the higher max item level, this month, they were still lower. Which surprised me.
I actually think this was a great idea and hope this route is taken for future launches. Players can use this preDLC time to get things ready (IE respec SP to new max, level augs, convert marks, etc) that way when a dlc launches they can get straight into the content.

so if switch is getting the update, which includes enabling the event, later than all other platforms is the event gonna be extended for us to make up for that? because it wouldnt be fair to give us less time to grind out the event than other platforms.
This, 1000000 times this! Whenever I see "later for switch" all I picture is Walter White flipping the security camera scene. It's only half of Daybreaks fault, other half being thatNintendo has a slow patch approval process
