What's with this open 20 BBs you'll "probably" get a Premium box that everyone seems to parrot? We know no one at Dimensional Ink has actually confirmed this so until Mepps or Panderus says this is true I'm taking that with a grain of salt. That said it feels like someone made a "joke" and now some of us are preaching it like it's the Gospel truth.
They haven't lied to anybody though... the odds were readily available - 5% chance of a premium box - but some people clearly misunderstood how odds work. That misunderstanding is not a lie on the part of the devs. Unlike if they said, for example, "Buy 20, and you're guaranteed a premium box, and a pony." It's also not their job to confirm that people understand plain English.
Oh my goodness this can’t be true this is exactly what us devoted players did not want. A 5% chance with all those other random options most of us don’t want.Spend your money blind with a 5% chance to get a premium rewards box followed by shame and disappointment for not getting the premium reward box. Then again players are turning to money selling websites because they find that a better route than paying on dcuo. I want everyone to think about that a gentlemen in this thread stated he spent over $300.hell many people spent at least $200 including obsidianchill but didn’t get what they wanted.Yet with $200 they would’ve had $3 premium boxes going to a website that sells them. I’m confused on why so many people don’t come together and demand that we aren’t buying this booster bundle unless the percentage was fair on our terms for once in the history of DCUO. I don’t see the devs throwing a pitty party with inflation on the rise.
Yup alot of people will have been put off from this bundle, the drop chance is just too low, why spend $300 on boosters with a very slim chance when one can go spend $100 on a third party website and just outright buy it? I suggest they add a currency similar to quarks when booster bundles are involved at the very least!!
I spent some money this time around, I wasn't fortunate enough to partake in the Shaded Comic bundle. I bought 7 bundles, got two nimbus and three smokes, the rest were the common ones. Not a single Premium. I expected it. On the other hand I had enough stabilizers to unlock one Resurgence capsule after opening the bundles and ended up getting one of the big ticket-collection pieces out of one of the TC's.
Yup. 7 bundles, and nothing. Oh well. Buddy said he got a premium from another player, won't disclose how but it wasn't through the marketplace.
I bought a Booster Bundle, I only got one mat out of it so I was kinda bummed out. I thought there was more to it that this. For me, the Resurgence Mega capsule had more value. I guess I'm missing something lol.
I am aware they are tradable. Need I mention 3rd parties? I had not asked if they are tradable but thanks for those who may not have been aware that they are indeed tradable. Plenty of people on US server are trading in chat for upwards of 4 billion DC cash. Many are also finding other means to acquire the materials. You will NOT find a premium box in the broker. It just would have been a treat if "donating" money to the marketplace yielded results. I do not wish to use a third party seller, trade for gift cards, trade more DC cash than I currently have, etc. So I am fine with the replays, favor, and artifact xp. Just tired of seemingly endless disappointment with RNG and less than favorable odds. Last time I checked, this was not a casino. End rant.
Some luck... I watched a video of a player opening 7 BBs. They got FOUR premium drops. How is it they land four with a 5% chance and out of the 7 I had opened not a one? Just wow... Really feel sorry for the guy who spent 300 bucks. I hope you are still with us.
Oh, man! I forgot! All this time I was concentrating on getting the shaded Comic Material for some of my newer characters like SUPERMANNERED, DISEASED MANIAC AND FELINA CHATNOIR… I NEGLECTED GETTING LIQUID material for my speedsters! now I know the Killer Frost cold shoulder aura is redeemable as a style unlockable option. What about the little futuristic drone? Is that an unlockable accessory? Can I get it for say BOOSTERRIFIC GOLD and then unlock him for GOLDEN DRAGON?
