Why does it seem like no one plays Legends PVP anymore?

I queue up on my own frequently on every 2v2 through 8v8 PVP mode, and sometimes I'll get hits, but often I'm waiting a long time for a catch.

I'm sure it would be easier if I were going in with a group, but I haven't really been able to find groups that happen to be online the same time with me, and when I can get on depends how my work week is going or family plans, so don't have a set schedule.

Is it that most people going into these are already in planned groups, or they just don't get queued much?

they do not que as much because majority of players do not pvp at all. the overall opinion is that pvp itself has been broken for a long time and last time it was any good was 2013.

Darn, that's sad. I love playing as DC characters sometimes, but it feels stuck behind a wall of a queue... Seems like I'll never make up enough Marks of Legend for buying out all the characters I like (without spending real life muns).

Injustice 2 is a pretty good game and I frequently see it for $10-$15. While I can appreciate people wanting to fight with the custom characters they've made and built up, if fighting with your favorite iconic DCUO characters is your thing, DCUO is not De Way

Because everyone is already ticked off because of the current state of PvP in general those are the players that fill the queue there all long gone

And no new Legends have been added at all even those that were promised now scrapped

Its very clear there's a huge neglection on Dimensional Ink's part on the state of PvP in general

I would love to see a turn around one can hope

I've found it to be very dependent on what the bonus week is at the time. For example, during the current double Wayne Casino Token event, it will pop less because people are chasing those extra tokens. During a Quark Discount//Source Gear Vendor discount week, it pops much more, since people are free to play whatever they like, while retaining the discount. And most veterans have the items they need or shop once with the discount and move on.

Quark discount, older episode spotlights, and bonus catalyst weeks can all be good times for PVP queues. Late morning to mid-afternoon, then late evening til reset, are the best times to queue, since morning players have finished their dailies early on, and then evening players finish theirs in the after dinner-ish. Once people finish their routine is when they queue for other things. Thursdays and Fridays are the worst days to PVP, since the weekly reset has most folks raiding and hunting after open-world weeklies. Sunday through Tuesday will have the most PVP.

Short answer: people get incentivized away from it. And while Legends is a lot less broken than Arenas, we still can't block counter Two-Face's 5-tap.

Like Solarbound said, PVP is completely broken and abandoned. It doesn't gets any updates like at all, so why would people play something that's completely broken and not updated? Most of the PVP players moved on.
