So what changed? (content relevancy)

    'Currently, mark relevancy exists to meter how many marks are available each day or week, and has nothing to do with how easy or hard that content is. We are looking at everyone's feedback on this.'

    So now it's ok for us to have unlimited marks? why? what changed exactly in 4 years?

    Leadership and Direction Changed.

    They finally got somebody in here who wants to remove content relevancy windows, albeit at the cost of having to run content stat clamped.

    But I'll take it.

    They are probably going to adjust everything according, its a big move that probably took into account players: 1) Having more content to run in the past years.
    2) Willing to spend more daily time on the game

    They didn't want you to get full marks from something that was completely trivial. Right now if you are full Flashpoint gear and walk into fos3, things can barely out a dent in your health, so it doesn't make sense for you to get 10 source marks from that. Going forward you will be clamped to something closer to fos3 levels, so the instance will no longer be trivial. It may still be possible to solo it, but that will take some effort.

    So there is a trade off, full marks with no loot lock while being clamped vs reduced marks (they were loot picker guaranteed for raids, possibly in the loot picker for other instances, and random chance to drop directly as well everywhere).
