    Great to finally see new raids, I Know there no feats there yet but I would like to get there ahead of time and ask you kindly to focus on hard feats on these new raids, feats extent the content material by quite a bit. Full raid no death feats, speed feats etc of sorts add another layer of difficulty onto the raids and hope they will make a reappearance.

    Hey dev(s)

    The Gorilla grod the first boss fight on Elite needs a big HP buff and what is even more out of balance is that he does such a low amount of normal weapon attack damage it is very very underwhleming to Tank him i stood infront of him and i was very disappointed to find this out,keep in mind that i was cr 329 so not even max on previous episode gear. Please fix this.

    The adds that spawn during the fight die quick too they could use a HP buff aswell.

    Outside of that some of the group members said that the blue circles should be abit smaller so that they have more room to move and that they dont get enough time to dodge gorilla grods charge/jump. Also the Person that gets turned into a gorilla and teleports himself up often times people failed to defeat the 3 gorillas i think maybe it should be just 1-2 gorillas.

    There needs to be things the Tank(s) has to worry about mechanics wise and/or making the adds and boss harder to deal with this fight is mainly difficult for the group (Dps,troll,heal) not the Tank.

    Love the new idea for the selection of difficulty.......I would love to add a progress feature similar to SM where the higher difficulty version of the raid can be reached once a person defeats the previous versions. I think this would be good long term, in terms of DLC longevity , for forming groups that want to really do the raid on its highest difficulty and would bring a nostalgic feeling like a 8man SM.

    I love the fact aswell that they ( im pretty sure full credit goes to charon) for listening to us about this topic im really amazed by it Thanks charon!

    Also flashtastic voyage raid gives of a amazing vibe i really like both of the raids so far from the way the look and the map etc.

    The bosses also look great and dangerous good job there!

    Also i find the brainiac fight interesting with the 4 Phases i like it for sure!

    incase a dev reads this the other raid is missing a feedback thread.

    Was on test earlier looking at the on-duty requirements and noticed the event version of the raid has a typo that lists parts of the endgame cr range for the rewards, it states
    “Rewards:
    Lvl 12-cr354: source marks, wayne casino chips, loot items
    Cr>=355 wayne casino chips, loot items”

    While crs should match the event alert’s description with
    “Rewards:
    Lvl 12-cr 321: source marks, wayne casino chips, loot items
    Cr>=322 wayne casino chips, loot items”

    I think it would be refreshing to actually be able to tank right in front of a boss and largely speaking this isn't different from most other bosses except for the nonsense SM has turned in to where every tank is running scared and playing in the "grey"

    You cant really kite him anyway due to the limited room caused by the blue circles this boss either way hits very soft they need to look into that.

    I don't mind if there's a bit of kiting, what I do mind though is where the tank spends all of its time roll dodging and standing in the grey :) - that's not even really tanking any more at that point.

    imo, things shouldn't be hitting so hard with every move that the only way to survive is to avoid any moment of face tanking ever, people are entitled to their own view, but I certainly don't like that.

    Im not saying they should hitting one shot damage per hit but if the Tank is immune to most one shots compared to the DPS and the boss is not doing much damage to the Tank either where exactly is the difficulty there for the Tank?

    Elite Bosses are supposed to be hitting Hard i think its pretty logical and im sure the devs know this aswell on top of that Elite raids should focus more about roll check (Tank,heal,troll) i feel like they focus too much on the DPS (burning everything down with 5 DPS and mechanics that are mainly against the DPS).

    Generally its too DPS centric they need to focus and shift the difficulty on the Support rolls espcially the Tank so as i said Roll checks for the Tank and tell me why Tanks in dcuo are so Tanky and what makes you think that Elite bosses that are supposed to be difficult that they shouldnt be hitting hard ? It litteraly makes no sense i think you are just scared of difficulty on the Tank because you are one yourself meanwhile you are fine with high difficulty on the rest of the group? Thats very selfish i dont wanna see the group struggle and i as a Tank have a much easyier job this should be fixxed asap Just to remind the devs that Raids like paradox and Nexus had hard hitting bosses thats one of the key reasons why it was considered difficult for the Tank and why it had longterm difficulty (which we need for Elite raids) so the most simple way of increasing Tanking difficulty would be to focus on the Boss/adds damage output with their normal weapon attacks.

    The number 1 job of the tank which is taking in and surviving high incoming damage (Thats why we have such strong powers and healers to keep us alive) and keeping the aggro thats the whole point of a Tank. If you think the most simple/basic rules of Tanking shouldnt apply on the Elite Raid (thats supposed to be difficult) content then sorry i severly disagree with you.

    Thats true but it depends how many range attacks they have on Elite if they wanna stop/limit kiting on the Tank they should focus on Range attacks which i hope they do because a Tank that doesnt know how to use its powers to survive on Elite Raids shouldnt be Tanking Elite lol :) simple way would be to put adds in the fights that do range attacks.

    I also would like to remind the devs that to check out the bosses in SM that have so much more CR then us but we are still able Tank the hits from those bosses proofing how strong Tanks are in dcuo what im trying to say is that there is room for improvment in Elite bosses :).

    Again to clarify im not saying they should hit 1 shot damage but the damage output that is currently existing from gorilla grodd makes no sense to be this low simply make the boss/adds hit Hard so that Tanks also have difficulty and longterm difficulty not just the DPS.

    The point I'm making is, I expect the bosses to hit hard, I do not however, expect the bosses to just decide to randomly one shot me or down me with a few hits despite having shields on etc. That should only be happening if I'm entirely ignoring every single attack and entirely ignoring timing shields etc. You keep mentioning Paradox as your benchmark, the fact that pillar tanking back then was even a thing should indicate to you that this whole "kite tanking" nonsense we've had going lately is exactly that, nonsense. They had hits you had to pay attention to, but they weren't hitting the tank to the extremity that they had to be rolling and kiting around every 2 seconds.

    So if that's the benchmark you're striving for then we want the same thing. I'll leave it there though because the points been made.

    Then we agree more now :) i mean i would expect a enraged angry gorilla grod to hit me hard.. lol

    also to clarify i said that they should not do random one shots (unless its part of a mechanic that can be avoided) the BEST example on how NOT to do would be clocktower elite first boss they did random one shots for no reason without any skull attack and thats probably the BIGGEST kiting show i have ever experienced lol.

    The paradox example: a Boss that was designed much better was Ravager from Paradox he did no „one shot“ attack with normal weapon attacks but his normal weapon attacks would take away a big chunk of the HP of the Tank per hit.

    What i loved about ravager from paradox was that he did like a 4 combo weapon attack in a short period of time which was like this one hit,second hit,third hit and fourth hit and the best part was that after each hit it did more damage meaning the fourth atttack would be the biggest damage the third the second strongest and so on this made it so that the Tank actually had to use its shield right before the fourth hit otherwise the fourth hit itself it would be a one shot or close to it and he had to pay attention the the Boss so i think something like this could be usefull for the devs to know and to work on for elite raid bosses in general and it is a very logical and fair way aswell as simple way to increase Tanking difficulty imo.

    These days we have artifacts like page of destiny and so on theres no reason to be easy/shy on the Tank(s) thats the whole point of being a Tank.

    And please devs Fix this kiting on Elite raids, Tanks shouldnt kite to this degree.

    I mean the DPS difficulty is all great and high but im trying to tell that Tanking difficulty is something very different and needs seperate adjustements. @devs :)
