Do you miss the broker??

I know that question might ignite to passionate responses, but it's been sometime now that the broker and trade have been disabled due to recent devastating money debacle. And I have to say I haven't missed it much. Yes, it's great going on and buying the latest catalyst or collections, trying to accomplish everything I want immediately.

But, it has been nice, just progressing through the latest content, trying to find all the collections for myself, making sure to run every day to gain the catalyst from the newest content. Also knowing that everyone else around me is doing the same thing, and not having to try to complete with all the billionaires in-game or players spending real money. Nothing against those that due, by all means, I believe if you can afford it, then do so. I'm just saying it been nice being able to obtain items/collections/gear and not have to immediately think, "how much is this going for in the broker? " or "should I sell this for cash and get something out of another DLC?"

Definitely a change of pace, and wouldn't mind even seeing a hold on trading for a short period for new items/collections/gear after a new DLC comes out. I'm sure people will vehemently disagree, but let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks guys.

I do miss the broker a bit, but that's more cause I use it as a trash bin. I play daily, so get a lot of double stuff that I put in the broker for 1 buck. I also miss looking in the broker, cause I like to look at the aura's I never could buy in the broker. But I can still see the preview and see how it would look on my toon, before grinding the marks to buy it (If you can buy it).
Other than that I love it that the broker is down! It reminds me more like the old days, just like you said. Run everything daily (with multiple toons) to get what you want.
I recon it's a whole other story for the non-daily players.

I miss it for sure. There's plenty I can do without it, but I mainly use it for collections that I'm not getting by grinding. I've been checking daily, patiently waiting for Mepps to show up and announce what's going to happen.

I 110% miss the broker and cannot wait till it is turned back on. It is literally the first thing I check every time I log on in hopes that it has been reactivated. lol

In my line of work, I have times I can play, and times when I can't. These times span about 6 or 7 months. Everything I miss in those months I try to make up by buying on the broker. So yes. I miss it.

Not really. It is a nice convenience but hardly necessary for advancing your character. I see many people complain that there is not enough to keep them occupied and at the same time buying items that they could grind for.

For me, it's like a game within a game, and it's always a treat to find a desired/needed item selling for a cheap price. (It's really more like a swap meet than a broker.) I also run a lot of alts and tend not to do raids, so it's really the only place where I can pick up catalysts and crafting items that don't drop in the alerts, duos, solos, or dailies. So yeah, I miss it.

Broker is a fun mini-game but i don't miss it. The only thing i miss right now, is my ******* money which i spent on MPC (Xbox One X) to buy 3 stabilizers to open 3 capsules, in which the game crashed each time i tried opening one, resulting in the game auto-picking a collection item i never wanted or would never have picked myself, each time.. That's effectively the game aka devs stealing my money.. I'm not having it. They've got to fix this game.

I'm missing it more now because I've been setting up a Casino/hotel/beach resort and now it's harder to furnish the place. trying to find specific items in the large base item boxes are hit and miss at best. And while many of the items are stupid expensive when they're out of season, (The Bar supplies/beach stuff etc....) even the regular stuff like flatscreen TVs Desks tables beds etc are much harder to come by without the broker. I don't mind grinding for marks to bump up my gear and empower my character. But when it comes to furniture I'd rather buy it straight out and most of the really the items I bought were usually only a few million here or there.

I dont miss it at all. Then again I have had enough of this game and been looking for a new game to play for quite some time.

Yes, I miss it. I have a Collyer Street sign to sell for 999,999,999 and the lack of broker and trade is keeping me from completing my first trillion.

    Kidding... kidding...

However... if it stays down much longer I'm going to have to start ditching stuff because my banks and inventories are getting a tad... snug. :(

I miss it, the broker is like a waste dump and i am not able to get rid of my waste atm...my inventory stinks and i have to get rid of it very soon before i become a compulsive hoarder and my inventory starts to look like 99% of those who create youtube videos for dcuo.

If it went away for good, but we were still able to get something out of items we don't want or have already collected besides just deleting them, I would adjust and keep on playing.

But I would miss hunting for base items or collection pieces I haven't been able to find in the wild. It isn't a vital part of the game but it is something that I've gotten enjoyment out of.

I miss it especially with regard to Seasonal Collections, given the limited time. I have a alts, but not everyone does.

I don't miss the broker at all. I think we should get money from koing open world bosses and items. Whoever gets the last shot on boss gets the cash. Whoever get most dmg gets items. We have to open a shop in watchtower to sell items to others. U never turn the game off at all while shop is open afk for hours till ready to play again. The sp tree and our stats would.need to be revamped for this to work tho and gear. We would have 5 stats health, power, hit chance and dodge chance and dmg. Sp would go into either one. Hands would give 2% hit chance feet 4% dodge chance weapon 2% hit chance. artifacts would than boost ur dmg dodge and what not. Gear would have combined rating and enchantment rating. 120% max enchantment 12 Max combined rating. This system would make pve hella fun and PvP. Too bad this game doesn't do it like that. And to top that off no more cr rating we go way back to leveling up max level would be hero lvl 120 after that hero master level 30 max. After that hero god 12 max. Which nobody will ever see for 10 years too.much grind same with master 30

So...you want to play a different game entirely? Let's add some orcs and maybe a dragon into the mix! And everyone gets a pony! And laser beams from our nethers!

    Hmm..

It is a convenience that I miss, but it's not game breaking that it isn't available yet. For me, this is how online games used to be before the "broker/auction house" functions; players either sold their items to the vendors or bought/sold/traded with other players. Players made custom trade channels and invited players to join them for buying/trading items. Leagues and Guilds were more important to join then, because joining one gave you a better chance of getting good items as well as getting those raids completed.

If the broker never returned and the devs bumped up the shared bank inventory space to be close to the same size as the regular bank inventory space, then I would be able to adjust and keep playing with no issues.

At this point, I'm over it. If there's no broker access until 2020, I'll be okay -_-

Sure, I miss it. But life goes on without it.

I just think it's a shame as I'm now just having to delete lots of things such as collection pieces, styles, catalysts, etc. that I'd normally put on the broker to see if anybody else wanted them. As of now I couldn't even give this stuff away if I tried and my inventory and bank are already full.

Funny thing is I find myself actually with more cash as I guess i was losing the "broker game" by putting up too many items that weren't selling and losing that deposit.
