A boss fight I'd like to see

The Madness mechanic in JLD was truly something, so If we fight another giant boss like Typhon or the Sea Monster I'd like to see it go similar to Garothi Worldbreaker boss from Warcraft where you have to move to another side of the room to avoid getting blasted by energy beams. The Enervator, Trigon's Prison, and part of the Corum Rath fight already sort of works the same way.

A mechanic that caused a lot of bugs? maybe not. (this is not a hate message, dont take this seriously ^^)

I'm still waiting patiently for Amazo.

The boss fight to end ALL boss fights.

They could either simply introduce an Amazo that would copy the powers of the raid party going against him OR have him preset with Wonder Woman's Lasso, GL's Rings, Superman's strength, heat vision and Ice breath...Batman's gadgets...Cyborg's sonic blast...Flash's super speed....Red Tornado's wind powers...Black Canary's sonic scream...

This is one boss fight that one-shots can be expected in.

I've always wanted to see a "Bank Robbery" Alert, with a couple of C-list villains like Toyman, Calendar Man and Clock King trying to pull a heist.

First fight would be to gain entrance, with an infinitely spawning Toyman trash, and a PvP style Capture-And-Hold mechanic where the team has to successfully hold a node for a certain amount of time in order to get into the barricaded bank. Upon completion of the Hold Point, Clock King orders Toyman to hold the heroes back himself and he fights us in one of his giant robots.

Second encounter, we would navigate our way through the bank, only to get word that Commissioner Gordon and his SWAT Team have been ambushed during their rear entry. We race to save them and find Calendar Man has Gordon captive. Calendar Man has a series of different powers based on holidays that he would rotate through, changing phases quicker than most bosses do (maybe something like every 6-8 seconds), but with the phases always following the calendar order. Maybe something like this:
January - "New Year; New You". Calendar Man receives a significant self-heal.
February - "Love is in the Air". Calendar Man mind-controls one random teammate.
March - "Time for some Spring Cleaning". Calendar Man sprays the room with a hard-hitting AE machine gun attack.
April - "C'mon, you April Fools". Calendar Man does hard hitting melee attacks.
May - "Schools out, heroes". Calendar Man's melee attacks inflict knockback, tossing PCs across the room.
    etc.
The point would be that each phase has a really powerful mechanic that could potentially cause an issue, but that they change really quickly in a very predictable calendar pattern, so you can always be planning a phase or two in advance.

After defeating Calendar Man and rescuing Gordon, you return to the vault, where Clock King has almost completed the robbery. Clock King would have bombs staged around the vault to blow up the bank as a part of his escape. A timer would regularly and randomly appear on the vault door, threatening to lock the players inside. If the players interact with the door, they can stop it from locking. If they miss the interact, a series of 4 bombs appear with quick interact timers at the four corners of the vault. The bombs can individually be interacted to deactivate them, but if they blow, they inflict high damage with the potential for a wipe. Other than the battlefield mechanics though, Clock King mostly just fights with his cane through melee, while making puns like "Your time is up" and "I'll always be five minutes ahead of you." Defeat Clock King to win the Alert.

Villains would play the Alert with some basic swap-outs, so they are actually conducting the robbery. Opening waves would be Bank Security instead of Toyman Bots. First boss would be Robin piloting a Bat-mech suit, with some silly Will Wheaton voiceovers about how he doesn't exactly know how to work this thing. Second boss would be fighting against Harvey Bullock instead of Calendar Man, with radio traffic from the GCPD constantly giving Bullock different orders. Functionally the fight would be the same with the changing phases, but it would be Harvey Bullock complaining that "the brass" are constantly undermining him and changing what they want him to do. The final fight would be against Batman in the Vault to stop the robbery, and would functionally be the same, with Batman trying to lock the villains in the vault and then detonate "gas bombs" instead of explosive bombs, to knock the villains out and arrest them. Defeating Batman sees the villains escape with the money.

Both methods play 100% the same; it's just a visual/voiceover difference.

I would like to see him be an open-world special event spawn (not in a DLC sandbox).

Something interesting would be a boss fight like Brimstone:

To defeat him, someone has to go inside that thing and remove the generator that’s giving him form and substance.

It could be handled in a similar method to Happiness Home or Blackest Night. A side room could be created on the map, but it could be far enough out that it’s not noticeable. To enter the inside of the boss, someone teleports to that side room which has the appearance of the inside of the boss. It gives the illusion that you went inside while still working within the “tech” of the game.

This would be a good boss for Darkseid content given that Brimstone is Apokoliptian technology.

And seriously - why isn’t Firehawk in the game? Beautiful design.

A boss fight that is similar to the Experiment X-89 boss fight from WildStar would be amazing in DCUO.

Essentially, you approach the boss in the center of a room with floating platforms. He has numerous attacks and must be faced away from the group. What makes the fight intense is that the Experiment would do an attack towards the Tank that currently had aggro on him and smash the platform he was on at the time of the attack along with a mechanic that would destroy other platforms. So essentially the Tanks would have to have the Boss destroy certain platforms while the group rotated around the boss DPS'ing him and avoiding other attacks. If you fell off a platform you died. If you took to long DPS'ing the Boss the group would wipe as they would all fall to their death. It would make for an amazing raid fight in DCUO and could easily be tweaked for Event, Normal, and Elite content as the platform destroying attacks could be either non-existent/delayed pace (Event), normal pace (Regular), and increased pace (Elite).

Still to this day, this is my favorite Raid boss ever.

Isn't that the same Brimstone from JLU?

He'd make an outstanding super boss....couldn't just pummel it, but would have to deactivate it instead....depend on good heals to keep raid party alive and have Dps activate switches to shut it down.

Tanks and Trolls would have to utilize good shields, debuffs and defense to shield party from his massive radiation blasts.

I feel like the Overlord should get a second chance. I know we have already beat him, but come on.
