Happy Anniversary to DCUO!

In what seems like a flash, we are celebrating a new anniversary already! 2017 was so incredible thanks to you, the players. I thank each and every one of you for your continuous support and being a part of DC Universe Online.

2017, whew! What a year!

We have accomplished so much in this last year:

• We traveled to an unimaginable future to face off against the Attack of the Anti-Monitor!
• Starro invaded the shores of Central City in an attempt to Conquer all!
• We leapt back in time a war-torn 1940s to fight alongside the Golden Age heroes, to bring about an Age of Justice!
• A leap of faith was made with the DCUO Stats Revamp, giving the game the foundation for future development. Thanks for hanging in there – we know this was a hard one!
• The long awaited wishes of our players and development ancestors were heard, and the Power of Water finally came to DCUO.
• We stood, flanked by the Joker and the Riddler, and held ground in the epic gang war in a Gotham Riddled with Crime.
• John Constantine took us on a wild chase from the Oblivion Bar and beyond, searching for the most precious Artifacts in the DC Universe.
• From Earth 3, the Crime Syndicate, a Justice League of opposites, squirmed their way to our world and threatened our very existence!

Just a day or, well, just a year in the life of amazing heroes and villains. That was a lot to take on, but you did it, and we're all now looking for what’s next. Bring it on!

2018 – What awaits?

2018 is shaping up to be even better than 2017, just wait! We have really -big- plans and hope to be releasing details soon! In the meantime, come celebrate 7 wonderful years with us, take on the updated anniversary event, and enjoy these amazing gifts!

Member Gifts

Starting today, Members can claim a unique Member Box containing a suite of emblems modeled after Metal, the current special series from DC Comics, in-game posters of Earth 3’s epic Superman vs. Ultraman art, and an already-unlocked Paradox Time Capsule! We are especially proud of how the emblems turned out, and hope you will enjoy this tie-in to the ongoing comic.

All Player Gifts

Also starting today, ALL players (members and non-members) can claim our swanky updated Dark Spector Batsuit for 2018. This Batsuit was originally restricted to tech heroes in Tier 2, and was always one of our fan favorites.

We updated the suit using some our art team's latest tricks and tech, retextured it, and present it to you now as a reminder of how far we've come over the years. We hope you will enjoy it for years to come.

Finally, we want to invite our past members back with an extra special gift - select membership benefits for the rest of January! These benefits include access to all DLC content, all powersets, the unlimited cash cap, and so much more.

I would of liked a new chest style to put these new emblems on.

Happy anniversary, cant wait to see what yall got planned for 2018.

I'm probably reading too much into it but I feel like the emphasis on "big" has a double meaning.

I really hope we "past members" can get the emblems too, been waiting for them since they "announced" them

Im happy the emblem box is account bound and former Subs that are now Premiums can get a free month.

Lol...ok im with you on this one. I hate all gear with someone else’s symbol on it period. But again im thankful they gave us something.

Bat Emblems and an updated Batsuit, now all we need is a Bat Aura to finish it off lol. Very much appreciated. Awesome gifts and Happy Anniversary.

I have something to add about the new Dark Specter Batsuit though - It's really detailed in terms of depth, but the metal parts of the suit looks kinda off, it's like it's dirty low res metal texture, I don't know if this is the same used for Shim'Tar gear but something makes it look off compared to the original, almost an unfinished look... Thoughts?

Howe about finishing the Anniversary style set? We got a cape & mask, after that--nothing.
Also, how about bringing back the Cake Slice & Fireworks trinkets? make them cheap in the Anniversary Vendor (1 Qwardian credit or 1 MoV)

Picked up the full suit lol. Really enjoying the bats detail, would love to see an aura with them so I can wear my wings or cape.
